Nice and spacious with an ocean view but on the older side.
The ocean view. It was right off of HYW 101 which is very convenient. There was a good amount of space for the three of us. The kitchen was equipped with what we needed.
The path to take my dog out to go potty as well as the path to the stairs for the beach was not lit very well at night. I felt like I needed to use my flashlight to be safe. The front bedroom was very loud because it faced the walkway and HWY 101.

The location, proximity to the beach and incredible views are the pros
The unit is tattered and really needs some updating. Strong musty smell in the unit. I think it was clean but the sinks/shower, counters, etc., are tattered so hard to tell if they are just stained or just dirty. Lots of maintenance issues: no door handle on the refrigerator, one of the electrical outlets didn’t work, drain plug to the bathroom sink is stuck in place barely open so it drains very slowly, the lamp on the nightstand in the bedroom was burned out. The walls were paper thin so you could hear the neighbors next door and the road traffic was loud. The prior guest left a bucket of half sand/half water on the balcony and one of the chairs was covered in clumps of sand as if someone (assuming child) dumped the sand all over the chair and deck. The unit just need some love and it could be fantastic.
