Cedar Creek Retreat

The bedding and beds were exceptional and property was well equipped with linens, games, seating, kitchen items and bath linens.

Parking was limited to two cars. We were able to fit three.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay—the home was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. However, the listing and photos really need to be updated to reflect the current condition of the property. The house seemed further from the beach than described, and while we appreciated that our dog was welcome, we were extremely surprised by an excessive fee of $168 with taxes for 2 nights. These fees were not clearly disclosed before booking, and by the time we found out, the reservation was non-refundable—so canceling wasn’t an option. There were also a few functional issues—boiling water on the stove for coffee caused all of the smoke detectors in the house (not just the kitchen) to go off at 6 a.m., and they didn’t stop until we opened both front and back doors. Additionally, the shower pressure was very low, which was not appealing. The shower floor was extremely slippery, which was a safety concern. Despite these things, we made the best of it and still enjoyed our time. With more accurate photos, updated descriptions, and clearer fee disclosures, this would be a much more straightforward and enjoyable rental experience.

Very cute and conveniently located

It was not clean. There was food under the bed. The coffee pot was filthy. There was hair on the floor. There was hair in the drawers. The mattress pad was dirty very disappointed in the cleanliness. I have photos, but would not allow me to link.
