This truly is a hideaway. We had the best time staying here. It’s so peaceful. The rooms are spacious and vintage. The pool is cool and fun. Super close to downtown and the views were chefs kiss. Being able to self check and come and go as you please was an added bonus. It’s so hard to put in to words how much I enjoyed my trip here!!

Very friendly and attentive staff in housekeeping.

There are legitimate rules of conduct set by the owner, but they are not enforced. As a result, some guests, especially smaller groups, behave inconsiderately. For example, glass by the pool, smoking on the premises, loud conversations, music by the pool, etc. This behavior detracts from the uniqueness of the hideaway. It is the special tranquility that has brought us here so far. We hope that it stays that way and that the rules are enforced.

lovely stay.

for architecture buff, this is a mid century Jewell located a short walk from main street. I wish you added bikes, like Del Marcos hotel, for guests use. nice elcome snacks and drinks.

If you love MCM like we do, it's an absolutely magical place.

Amazing MCM look and feel. I love that the place was being renovated but the original patina was being kept true. The grounds were well maintained and the caretaker's communication was excellent. The location was awesome, very walkable if it was not 110 degrees outside.

Renovations were going on at the time of our stay. The hot tub was closed and under construction. The internet was hit and miss. Not easy to work off of in the room. It was better around the pool.

A perfect, peaceful, stylish place to come back to after the Palm Springs Film Festival.

We had such a lovely stay. We initially booked another "luxe" hotel that just had very rude staff and weird vibes. We booked the Hideaway and we are so glad we did. It was quiet, lovely, clean pool, and I loved the decor. So charming. And LOVED the record player.

It was a nearly perfect stay and we will be back. However, I would have liked a comfier bed. It felt a bit too "springy" for me. Although my partner said it was completely fine for him, so just personal preference.

Great!

I came to Palm Springs for a wedding. The Hideaway was close to the wedding venue so it was perfect. It's also close to the strip, so it was very walkable. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and it was so quiet and peaceful there!

A Relaxing Oasis

This was a nice quiet property, contactless check in/out made it feel almost like an Air B&B. The heated saline pool was a highlight. We didn’t know the pool was going to be a shallow wading pool, but it didn’t matter since it was so perfect. The room was a nice size and the kitchenette was stocked with little complementary treats which was fun. The room was cute, well styled, and very clean. The bed and pillows were a little stiff for me, but it was fine for a few nights. It was nice to have access to the lounge to hang out in during the rain. This property is walking distance to the art museum and many good restaurants. We always try to stay in this neighborhood when we visit Palm Springs and have walked by this place many times. I’m glad we gave it a try! We enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again. It had an interesting architectural history which makes it unique.

Location was great, easy check-in

Rooms were OK, the mattresses were very firm and uncomfortable along with the pillows which were also very firm and felt rock solid. Would suggest upgrading those. Also, the air conditioning didn’t work well - can’t imagine staying there when it’s 100 degrees plus.

Ring a ding ding!

This property is spectacular! Everything is perfect mid century modern and we loved everything about staying here! I would come back to Palm Springs JUST to stay here again!

We loved everything! Only downer was that the little “hang out” room wasn’t open. The staff said that was because of city regulations though (after covid they still haven’t lifted all the closures I guess) but that’s not the property’s fault!

We were after a vintage style of accomodation as we are a family of design enthusiasts and we loved the accomodation. It was perfect.
