Everything was very clean
The elevator wasn’t working
3.0 / 10.0
For this night I liked the convenience of location. Decent kitchen type setup for someone who required longer stay.
Dirty halls. Elevator broken so had to take the stairs. Urine in the stairwell. The heater in the unit was broken and wouldn’t go above 64 degrees. Was freezing in the room. The bedding had no substantial blanket or comforter. Just a very thin worn out microfiber textile that wasn’t thick enough to make underwear. Then a very thin throw on top of that. I was freezing and couldn’t sleep. Add to that, Sheetrock is deteriorating in the shower. A leaking shower head is soaking the sheetrock and it’s deteriorating. there is no employee on site from 11pm - 7am. What?? So the facility is up for grabs during those hours? Never again!

The facility was awesome for the value and the staff was very helpful and friendly ... The property showed a bit of age but clearly it is a residential long term tenant type of thing but the room was very nice and very clean as well and the room had a kitchenette that was perfect for my needs ... I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for long or short term stays
Well the elevator was not working but luckily I was only on the 2nd floor

Nothing was great about this property the staff was rude and unhelpful, the room was dirty upon arrival, there was no staff at the desk upon arrival
Unfortunately, there were several issues with the property. The staff was rude and unhelpful, the room was not clean upon arrival, and there was no staff available at the front desk during check-in. When we requested a new room, we were given unfolded laundry and told that no rooms were available, despite rooms showing as available when I checked.

Elevator is not working. And from my understanding it hasn’t worked in months. Front desk phone not working everything VM.

Nothing
It smelled horrible, the floors were sticky, the bed made me itch, they had a sticker from a pair of jeans sizing sticker holding the breaker box shut. I was too scared to try to use the bathtub. No WiFi, the place was honestly the worst. I would say you get what you pay for but I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels that were waaaay nicer and cleaner.

I liked the location, the setup of the room, and the cleanliness.
A MAJOR problem I had was the fact that the elevator wasn't working and hasn't been for the past 2 months. This WILL be the only reason I do not go back to stay there again. Oh and also the fact that there were people smoking Marijuana out in the parking lot right in front of the building.

For the price, it was a good deal. Comfortable, easy, quite & clean. Obviously location was a big factor. Also, receptionist did her best to accommodate my request. That alone is greatly appreciated.
Parking lot was a bit sketchy but, I'm a big boy. Just add some lighting & it'll be a huge improvement.

Room was clean and for an overnight stay it was ok.
Very upsetting that my manager called to make sure all charges were charged to CC that the reservations were made with and then when checking out being told they couldn't do that. Had to use personal CC

Staff was friendly especially Rebecca!
I really couldn’t complain, if there was an issue they were very helpful with helping me through my stay

The staff was real nice and helpful. When I came in the room it was really clean.
That I had to come to the front desk to let visitors in or let delivery driver for fast food come in.
4.0 / 10.0
The front desk clerk, Rebecca was amazing! She always went above and beyond. The staff is very good. The location was good for my visit.
I stayed at WoodSpring Suites in 2019 and it was a nice experience. Clean, quiet rooms, attentive desk staff, and features of the room performed as they should. This is why I booked it again for my 10 day stay in September. Sad to say the property has declined. First, the elevator has been out of order for at least a month prior to my stay. The desk clerk Rebecca apologized and I understood that parts haven't been available.
There was very loud traffic from the highway that filled the room, even through the night, so no sound-proof windows. I went to the front desk after my first night explaining the situation to see if I could get a different room. The desk clerk said they were booked. I called a few hours later as instructed, and they explained what I could do later do to see if one becomes available.
One night, the fire alarm went off around 2am. It was later discovered that someone pulled the alarm. I noticed there are cameras in the hallways and I hope whomever pulled the alarm was dealt with.
The water pressure in the room was poor, and overall, the room needs a refresh. Holes in chairs, chipped paint, dirty walls, fixtures not affixed and my door didn't always lock when leaving the room. I would check the handle and the door would sometimes open, when it should ALWAYS lock. One day it didn't lock at all. This was a big problem as I was on my way out for a non-refundable city tour.
Thankfully, Rebecca was at the front desk. She escorted me back to my room and tried to fix the lock. When it didn't work, she finally booked me into another room after my 4th night. Sadly, I had to rush to remove my belongings, which put a big time-crunch on arriving at the tour. Rebecca is a trooper and works hard to make sure guests are attended to. I left some things in the room during the switch and she returned them to me the next time I saw her. She even came out in her PJs to rectify the fire alarm.

It was a mattress on a cot frame. Absolutely nothing was nice about this place then if you lock yourself out of the room they’ll charge you $10 per key to let you back in. You don’t even get a real BLANKET. Smell like smoke just horrible
The place entire existence. Then it’s NO ELEVATOR. Literally had to walk and carry luggage 5 flights of stairs

Location
Looks nice from Exterior ONLY but very run down with extremely strong odor of bleach and cleaning solutions to mask the old carpet odor. The room had the same unlivable strong odor with very old furnitures. Couldn't stay due to the strong odor and had to find another 'hotel". This was definitely not a hotel suites but more of a extended stay MOTEL status.

Dont' act like I didn't go to check in and there was no vacancy. I had to look for a hotel at 3AM 3hen I arrived to Austin TX. Not only was that not safe, I am highly disappointed and will never use you again.

We did not even check in, the appearance and smell of sewer led us off to find other arrangements.
I had been mistakenly was misinformed on the name. So when arriving and seeing the homeless living in front in drainage ditch along with smell and buzzer locked door in order to enter to room area. NOT WHERE I wanted to spend my wkend.

Friendly front desk staff both evening and morning. We're very helpful and kind.
That it didn't offer some sort of breakfast food besides coffee, which was good .
7.0 / 10.0
Room was clean upon arrival. Rebecca at the front desk is very kind and helpful, as were other staff members. Large fridge and kitchenette good for extended stays. Laundry machines work (unlike other hotels in area), which was great for extended stay.
To clarify, not perfect, but good value for price. I stayed for several weeks, but room went over 2 weeks without cleaning towards the end. I should have asked the staff to schedule a cleaning but did not. Lobby and elevator smell like wet dog for the duration of my stay (there were dogs staying there), but staff does their best to keep it clean on a daily basis.

Front desk person was polite
I made my reservation ans that no means they will have the room available. That is what the front desk told me because when he checked i didn't stayed. Not room available!

Nothing
There was a really bad odor immediately entering the hotel. The room was very uncomfortable and there was a homeless camp right as you look out the window. The room also had a bad chemical type odor. I could not even stay and ended up leaving and booking another room somewhere else.

Room came with a stove and microwave and sink, which was great for the meal ingredients I packed for my road trip.
Staff was very friendly.
Bathroom door didn't totally or lock in the room, but I was traveling alone so this was no concern for me.

Price and location was good
There was hair behind the faucet in the shower and mold growth above the shower. Also stains on comforter. The smell of the entire facility was bad. I stayed in a WoodSpring at a different location and loved it but will not stay at one in Austin again.

Location to the airport
The bed had a thick plastic covering under the very thin sheet that you felt every time you moved on the bed. There was a loud banging every hour or so under our room. The door leading from the stairwell to outside wouldn't close and therefore could not be locked so anyone could walk into the hotel. Overall just a very expensive night in a very uncomfortable hotel.
