    Great property. Excellent restaurant, bar, and housekeeping staff. Front desk staff is hit or miss on friendliness, but for the most part good. Love the location and the room decor. Great outdoor area. Our favorite OU area hotel! My only complaint is the price gouging on special event weekends...we stay elsewhere in that case, which is a shame.

    There's not much else in Athens for lodging. This worked out well for us. Friendly staff, clean hotel. Restaurant is sub-par and overpriced for what/where it is.

    Thing I found unacceptable : 1) Essentially no housekeeping services during a 3 day stay. (Put our own trash out at night, no bed making, no bathroom cleaning, etc) 2) Suggestion that we "tip" our maid...who we never saw; he or she did nothing for us. 3) Charge for overnight coffee In room machine didn't work. Coffee at the bar was $11.80 for 2 ( that's 2 not 20) cups. Most GOOD facilities have an "overnight" coffee pot. Breakfast was very mediocre Except for the fact that it is near campus it has nothing to offer
