Holiday Inn & Suites Denver Tech Center-Centennial by IHG

The best part of the property was the staff. Shout out to Gabe at the front desk and Bianca managing the breakfast buffet. We had a suite and the room, although quite basic, was spacious and was appreciated for a long stay. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have soft and firm pillows. I like that the bathroom vanity has a shelf to put toiletries. There are a number of businesses, including a Natural Grocers and Starbucks basically next door.

As I stated, we stayed for nine nights, so I think I have fair constructive criticism. Several things could be improved. First, the furniture/fixtures look worn. Updates are needed. Also, the lighting in the room was a harsh bright white, which is not very inviting and cozy. It felt institutional. A simple change to warm white bulbs would make a world of difference. The breakfast buffet was inconsistent. For example, one day they would have bagels, another day none. Some day’s offerings (weekdays) were better than others. The price was higher than other comparable hotels in the area.

Tyler was awesome and made me feel welcome. I noticed it smelled really good when I entered the lobby. Everything was clean as expected. The location is perfect, quiet, and safe. My children and I enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was also really good. They had so many options, and the staff in the restaurant were friendly. I’d absolutely stay here again.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I requested my burger to be well-done, and it was pink all over on the inside. I didn’t eat it and was sad because I was very hungry, and the restaurant was closing.

There were no curtains, aside from a see-through linen. On the building across the street was a huge bright sign that lit up our room the entire night. Awful. They should install darker curtains to keep the light out. The main reason I get a hotel room is so I can sleep somewhere, but good sleep was impossible. If they are not going to install darker curtains they should leave eye shades in the room.
