Hilltop was in a great location, so we could walk to almost everything we wanted to do in Newport. The staff was very friendly/communicative and the room was beautiful as well as very clean. We were out and about a lot, so we didn't really see anyone around the inn while we were there, which felt like we were able to stay in this big beautiful home by ourselves. It looked like there were about four rooms total for guests, and our room (the Murray room) was set up very well tucked away to the side with gorgeous decor as well as a very spacious bathroom. The dining areas, living room, and game room were cozy and had a lot to offer guests even though we didn't have a lot of time to spend downstairs. We heard other guests from time to time from our room, but it was only near the door/hallway. We wished we could have spent more time getting to know the staff and other guests there, but we just had too much to explore around town! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again!
Being November when we visited, it was chilly in our room now and then, but the lovely fireplace warmed us up!
