Had a lovely weekend.

Great location, wonderful staff, loved the lobby & bar especially the live music Saturday night, and the bed was cozy.

The room was meh. The laminate flooring was lifting, the shower was really gross and dingy, and overall the room needs a major refresh . Bottom line it was a perfectly ok room for a $300 night price tag, but for $600 a night I expected it be nicer.

Staff behavior was unexceptable

The location

The staff was rude and did not properly explain the extra valet charges per day. I prepaid for our stay. But upon check out was billed an additional $694. I was treated like a second class citizen when asked for an explanation. I had to wait until I returned home to call the main accounting office to find out they overcharged me and request a refund. The black lady who worked the front desk was beyond rude throughout our stay. One time as we were walking away I heard her say to the other worker “some people”. To me that is her way of showing disgust for a certain race. When you work in hospitality, you must never mumble rudeness or show your contempt for others. This is my second time staying here and my last!!! The first time we did not encounter this treatment. My sister and brother in law also stayed here on our most recent trip. They are inter racial as we are. They encountered the same behavior from the staff as well. So disgusting.

Only the great location can 'justify' the price!

+ located right in the hard of down town which made it very walkable + easy parking in covered garage included + breakfast was very tasty and service was great (this actually beat my expectations in this area!)

(note that the following points may appear minor but for the price of the room I found them annoying) about room: - the room had only 1 shared nightstand for 2 king beds meaning 2 ppl didnt have any nightstand (or lamp!) - the room had very sparse lighting and was far too dark - only 50% of eletrical outlets in the room worked (leaving us with just 2 plugs and no USBs) [I pointed that out to staff but beyond a "so sorry" there was nothing and no offer to help either] - the clock showed a totally random wrong time (this is minor but again: at this price id expect the hotel to check the clock's time) complex - the outdoor terrace while nice was very noisy with all the room ACs facing it - same as the room the property was dark. especially in floor and elevator this was way too much

Location

It is so dark! The elevators are almost spooky and the halls, I think, are unsafe because of the extreme darkness. Our mattress must have been very old because it was so lumpy and soft; pillows were not even fluffable. They were so old. Also our room 441, had a drape but no under curtain so we could not open it because part of the parking garage was close to our window. This contributed to darkness in our room. We stayed in four Hyatt hotels on our trip to California. Except for this one others were really nice.

Perfect place to enjoy Napa!

Great hotel in the heart of downtown Napa. Very nice staff, beautiful room, comfortable beds, not noisy.

Parking instructions (instruct people to park on street or in back free parking lot until checking in and getting parking pass). We didn’t know where to park for check-in.

Impossible to sleep

Great location, spacious room

Couldn’t sleep! The pillows are AWFUL—everyone in our traveling group was complaining about them. Asked housekeeping for some different ones and they brought more of the same. Also, the AC in all the rooms is crazy loud. When it comes on every few minutes or so, it wakes you up if you’ve managed to fall asleep. If you’re on the street side you get traffic noise, on the courtyard interior you get noise from the bar / restaurant until about 9:30pm. Also, weirdly, no lotion or shower cap in the bathroom.

Napa is beautiful.

Bed was very comfortable. Room ready early so we got in before 4pm. Towels soft and fluffy. Only negative was we could not cool the room to our satisfaction. We like to sleep cool and even AC set at 65 truly wasn’t a 65 degree room.

Needs to offer room service and have some spa amenities for the price at least. I had noise coming from the alley every morning at 6am from the dumpster being emptied 😅
