Our Place in the Smokies

Incredible view! Great value! Comfortable! And there’s bears!

We liked everything!

Wonder ful place

A squeaky metal bed with an uncomfortable mattress

The property has a stunning view of the mountains which is exactly why we booked it. The property itself had everything we needed inside, and the complex has its own washing facilities and an indoor and outdoor pool with Jacuzzi so very pleasant. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (the island is a hidden gem) are definitely worth a visit as is Dollywood.

The property itself in terms of facilities and location was great. However, I would say that if you are a nervous driver I think twice as the road leading up to the property is extremely windy with ditches and sheer drops. Definitely don’t do it at night if you are nervous. Sadly we were unable to sleep during our day as the properties have very thin walls and floors and basically our entire night was disturbed by people and children running around upstairs and shouting next door as well as being out on the balcony which was a shame. Unfortunately the property wasn’t clean to the standards we would expect we found a bug in the bed, a sock, hand sanitiser, and a silver earring all under the bed covered in dust so it had obviously been there for sometime which again was a shame particularly as the cleaner had left an envelope asking for a tip for their Work!
