Everything about Marias Bed and Breakfast was wonderful. Maria could not do enough for you to make your stay pleasant. Every morning she cooked a wonderful breakfast and both her and her husband's hospitality was superb.

The property was very clean.
We were not able to use the grounds of the property nor the lounge area on our first night. The owners were going to a prayer meeting and locked the upstairs parlor that had the only view of the premises and the creek. Our only alternative was to stay in our room. The outside gardens were all overgrown and there was no place to sit comfortably and were in disarray with fences in need of repair and discarded buckets and other objects littering the sidewalk. We walked to the nearby park but felt unsafe due to the tent village set up near the creek. I could not recommend this place to friends.
