We were a group of eight friends and had an excellent stay here—cooking, relaxing, and spending quality time together. The property is very close to Dickwella Beach, and Hiriketiya is just a short tuk-tuk ride away (around 400 LKR), though it’s also walkable. Despite being near the main road, the place is surprisingly quiet, making it ideal for groups. Our host, Chamila, was warm, welcoming, and always helpful—he even treated us to cake. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort of our stay.

Nothing to dislike.

This is a great location close to both Dickwella beach (great for kids) and Hiri beach (good for surf and more party vibe - also smaller so gets a lot more busy). The room is very big and it has a great hot shower (rare!). There are shared kitchen facilities.

There were quite a lot of ants in the kitchen - know this is hard to combat though when in tropical climate and people leaving things out

Staying here was like staying at your mum and dads. It was so well maintained and run very well. While it’s not in the hustle, it’s easy enough to get to by walking or tuk tuk. I highly rate this little sanctuary. Beautifully minimalist, functional and clean. The owners are caring and kind and a lovely presence when needed.

Nothing it was great!

The staff were so friendly, helpful, generous and thoughtful. They moved our towels out of the rain when we weren't there and gave us homemade cake! An amazing place to stay, great facilities and great location close to the beach and short walk to Hiriketiya beach. We loved our time here and highly recommended!
