La Casa dei Nonni is absolutely wonderful villa for family vacation. It's sutuated in really quiet and relaxing place in the heart of Toscana. From open terrace splendid views opens on inviolate nature, mountains, covered with wild forest. The villa has 5 spacious rooms, 3 of them are bedrooms on the first floor and very good equiped kitchen and very cozy lounge on zero floor. Wi-Fi is fast and works 24x7 without any problems.
Furniture in bed rooms and lounge is implemented in Toscana style. "La casa.." has 2 bathrooms - one is on the first floor and one - on zero floor. Bathrooms are very clean and well equiped. Water is suited for drink. Kitchen has gas stove with electric oven - little dark, I would advice to Tiziana(owner) to set additional light above kitchen working surface. Bed linen is snow-white.
In the garden there is spacious terrace with large table - the best place for diiners with execellent views and summer shower - good alternative to pool on the hot weather.
The owner Tiziana is very welcoming always ready to help with any question. Allowed to gather real italian deliсious tomatos, zucchini from her garden, take pears from pear tree.
The nearest big supermarket is in 12 kilometres, but there are small shops not far from the villa - in Channi. Every medieval town near the Casa dei Nonni:Chainni, Volterra, Lajatico(Andrea Bocelli's motherland), Pecciola, Terricciola and others - has unique history and is great place for survey.
To the sea coast in Cecina by car to go about 50 minutes by tipical toscan's narrow winding mountain roads. There is more confortable road around all hills - is about 1 h 30 mins.
