We had a great time visiting my mother
Everything there was fine

Staff were generally friendly
Room given had clorine/bleach smell. They are still remodeling the hotel, it was not shared when I booked. The room they gave me was above the vent where clothing were dryed and fumes were directly in path of the air conditioner which pulled in the bleach fumes into the room. I complained to the hotel staf when I left. They changed the room after I complained, the new room seemed to be better but the issue of some bleach smell remained, not as bad as the first rom they gave. Issue is booking.com should have said it is in renovation.

I stayed at Ramada by Wyndham Olympia with my wife for four nights, from December 27 to December 30, 2025. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience.
First, at no point during the reservation process was I informed that the hotel was under renovation. Arriving at a property that is clearly undergoing construction without prior notice is unacceptable and shows a lack of transparency and respect for guests.
The service was extremely poor. There is no proper reception area. Instead of a front desk, there is only a small table in a hallway, with no clear guidance or information provided to guests. The staff seemed unprepared and poorly informed.
The hotel was dirty, even considering that it was under renovation. None of the ice machines were working anywhere in the hotel, which is a basic amenity expected at a property of this brand.
The minibar/fridge in the room was another negative point. Besides being very small, it only works for two hours at a time, requiring the guest to manually press a button every two hours for it to continue functioning. This is completely impractical and unreasonable.
We stayed for three nights, and the room was not cleaned a single time. No housekeeping service was provided during our stay.
I expected a good experience because this is a Ramada-branded hotel, but the reality was exactly the opposite. Not being informed in advance about the renovation felt disrespectful to us as guests.
Additionally, I completed the check-in online through the official Ramada website. However, upon arrival, I was told that the online check-in was not valid. Even the hotel employee was unable to explain how the check-in process actually worked, which shows a total lack of training, organization, and communication.
Overall, this was a very poor experience, marked by lack of information, bad service, and disrespect toward the guest. I do not recommend this hotel.

The staff were fantastic. The room was warm and comfortable and clean.
The hotel is going through a renovation, and when we arrived at 7 PM or the outside light lights were extinguished and we didn’t realize that the main lobby was being renovated so he walked up to the door. Because there were no lights on we didn’t realize that the main entrance was around the side. This has been a long renovation, and although the room had been fixed up, they were wire and outlets everywhere. It didn’t look very professional

No microwave and one night hard no finding parking spot ..but is a great place

Plentiful & well presented. Staff friendly, kind & accommodating except for one staff member who charged me $12.00 for 3 bottles of water while I paid $3.75 for 3 bottles of water later & prior.
No housekeeping during my first 3 day stay had me seeking out staff to get washcloths & toilet paper. Hotel is under construction yet that has not been a problem. Over all I'm quite pleasantly impressed with being here for another few days..

I was not informed of the 'under construction' activity in the lobby. The breakfast room floor covered in plastic drop cloth was unappealing so I went out for breakfast. Other than that, the room was clean, quiet and convenient.
On-Line booking did not allow for condition of the entry remodeling notice. Large equipment at the property entrance made parking close [disabled spaces] difficult to manage. I had to back out of the parking lot in reverse.

Location close to places I had to be. Staff excellent.
The remodel work left some things not working (ice machines) and some others.

The actual room we had was clean.
Construction in the whole building without any notice when booking. This made it very hard to locate around the building and finding the actual property. It was very dangerous and very unsafe to navigate through because of the construction which wasn’t safe for us and especially our kids. At this property it states when booking that you get complimentary breakfast included and they lied. We had our kids with us which is the main reason we booked this place because of it stating they had free breakfast. Lastly the hotel states they offer a pool and hot tub and even show pictures of them but once you get there you realize the hotel requires you to make an appointment to visit the pool so because of that my kids didn’t get to enjoy this amenity like we had thought. Also poor signage on each floor that states they have ice machines available which all of them are in fact broken and do not work so late at night my husband had to go to the store to buy ice. This place was overall horrible! We definitely would want our money refunded. We would definitely not be returning.

I had a great experience at the hotel. The staff were really friendly, rooms were clean and great, and the location was convenient.
Everything was really clean, except the pool floor was a tad dirty but honestly wasn’t a deal breaker at all. The only other negative thing I would say is the breakfast was okay. Eggs were a little watery and the bagel was hard.

Breakfast was decent.
They are in the middle of remodeling the place into a Marriott hotel. When I checked out they did not give me a receipt and said booking.com will email me a receipt.

The location was great.
It’s under construction and there were quite a few open wires and vents in the room we had. The elevator was completely nasty.

Clean room. Pleasant place to stay with easy access to SEATAC Airport the next day.
No coffee at the breakfast buffet! If I was the hotel or food manager I would have run out and purchased a couple of residential coffee makers and hot pots and kept the coffee coming.

The hotel is under construction, dirty, noisy. The staff are unhappy. The TV services were not working properly. Breakfast ws not served on time. Staff did not try to fix anything. Overall, the worst hotel stay ever.
2.0 / 10.0
The place is totally understaffed, my phone didn’t work in my room, one ice machine on the main floor and my TV didn’t work the person on staff was an able to come up to help me until the next day and then he couldn’t even get it to work.
Not to mention all the construction going on. Then there was the Power outage, which is no one‘s fault. I do realize that but I was feeling a little unsafe, not having a phone working in my room.

I was there during the construction.
It was not a good organization of the construction, the guests had to go through the restricted entrance doors

Quiet when construction was done.
You should have just closed it down for construction. Messy as hell. Entrances closed. Cement wet everywhere.

The staff was great.
The sheets had crusty food stains, I had to change my own sheets right after checking in because they had no other available rooms or turndown service available. The bathroom shower had used soaps left and someone else’s hair was in the drain. Someone brought their little dog into the swimming pool.

Great location
Laundry room not working. Coffee machine broken. No microwave in room. Tiny coffee machine in room. Awful. Cleaning staff has to be asked for.

The new girl in training was very nice and kept her calm during the stress and chaos of a busy check-in time. She was the saving grace of my experience at this hotel, and I wish her the best of luck!
Clerically, everything seemed disorganized. My room was given to someone else because the other guest's AC did not work, so I did not get the kitchenette that I booked (I was fine with this, but could have been avoided by making it clearer in the booking system). Then I found out my AC unit did not work... Which I hope was just a coincidence. There were rumors of people being stuck in the elevator, though both sets of stairs were being renovated -- were not clearly marked off. The elevator and hallways had garbage. No wifi was provided.

That’s it had a good atmosphere, clean room that smelled good, I loved the window blinds, big screen tv and the rest of the room futures.
Down falls that the hot tub was being renovated. I was looking forward to that especially after a long day of traveling.
3.0 / 10.0
Room was clean and well appointed but the toilet seat was broken and the lobby, elevators and floors were quite dirty and actively under renovation with carpeting missing and dried cement everywhere. Would have been fine if the price was right, but it was not

Good breakfast in a clean room with lots of choices. Friendly guy helping out, mopping up normal messes. Pretty good coffee and liberal cereal flavors.
A little disconcerting to see remodeling scars when we walked in. Some frustrations making the air conditioning work, finding switches on lamps, no fan in bathroom and no grab bars in the cavernous shower. These were all resolved by friendly help from staff. In the end we were won over by the amount of space in the room, the location and the value for the price.

The room was clean
Hotel under construction, only one luggage cart, bed was platform hit shin, refrigerator was on a 2 hour timer, no coffee pot in room.
4.0 / 10.0
The staff were nice and the complementary breakfast was really good.
So dirty. I know it’s under construction, so some mess and dust is understandable. But it was so dirty and trash all outside around the outside of the hotel. There was a whole clump of hair in the shower. And the graffiti in the elevator made it feel so low class and like the management had just given up on keeping it nice. I honestly feel bad saying all this because the staff really were so nice, but I have to keep it real. I wouldn’t stay there again, at least not until the construction is completed and if it was cleaned up.

Convenient to soccer fields, before I got there it was the best deal for my last minute trip taking granddaughter to soccer tournament
In process of remodeling (not noisy though). Phone not working in my room meaning having to walk down to front desk for help, no coffee pot in room, we were informed at check-in that microwave and other items were available as long as you’re ready to run downstairs and get it.
Breakfast is always iffy for me as I am lactose intolerant and I rarely find anything other than fruit and maybe oatmeal that I can safely eat

I was not aware of remodeling being done. Lobby was vey uncomfortable warm. Staff not helpful. Breakfast could use some updating with options

The room had been recently remodeled and was clean, spacious and nicely decorated.
The entire hotel was undergoing a major renovation so there was construction debris and activity all throughout the outside and inside of the hotel. It was sketchy looking but the room was great and the breakfast area was great. The front desk person, Austin, was top notch hotel staff! True hospitality and he made the stay very welcoming and pleasant. He should get promoted!
