Pleasant room in a quiet residential neighborhood and only about a 10-minute walk from a beautiful park with a riverside trail. Appreciated the access to a full kitchen and ample supplies to make ourselves a nice breakfast. Also very much appreciate the hosts' work to make the lodging ecofriendly!
Not sure if they allow pets, but would be helpful if they did. I don't mind sharing a bathroom as I've stayed in lots of English hotels and B&Bs that don't have ensuite bathrooms, but some guests might.

Such a gem in Charlottesville. The owners are lovely. Has everything you could ever need. Breakfast was cook yourself and perfect!
A bit from downtown but a short uber ride

The kitchen was well stocked with hot pot or 4-5 different coffee makers (keurig, instant, press, etc). Organic eggs, gluten free oatmeal, fruits,pans, pots, breads, etc and even a compost container and recycling. We enjoyed making breakfast and relaxing in the kitchen. There was a great morning porch but weather was a bit chilly. If we had time, I would have loved to enjoy the Firepit that Flame started.
The property was very clean. Kitchen immaculate. Bedroom clean and well thought out on needs. Community area was spotless.
Because community environment, we met a lovely young lady from South America. We had some great conversations and shared travel ideas.
There was plenty of free parking on the street.
Raven was very nice walking me through the house showing me where extra towels and blankets were. Telling how to use compost container. Showing all the kitchen stuff. Making sure I understood rules so as not to disturb other guests. He was friendlier than Nick Saban.
The walls were incredibly thin. Every conversation was heard. There were three bedrooms that shared one bathroom. We had to whisper so as not to wake anyone.
I saw guest house and two queen beds with shared bathroom. I interpreted it as a separate space with two bedrooms for us with shared bathroom not three separate rented bedrooms using one common bathroom.
