    THE MOST DISAPPOINTING PART IS STILL THE DEPOSIT REFUND. Last time, it took almost a month to get my deposit back, and I really hope it doesn’t take that long this time. I also requested an invoice because I was charged more than the amount shown at booking, and I’m still waiting for it after 5 days. This was my second stay, and the overall experience was better. The staff was much friendlier, and they accommodated my request for a higher floor and a more modern room. The hotel is near Fremont Street, so it can be busy, bright, and noisy, but I barely noticed the noise from my floor and felt safe. For a traveler without a car, the location is very convenient: the airport bus is one block away and the Strip bus is about two blocks away. No breakfast, fridge, or microwave, but there is a convenient café in the lobby with friendly staff and reasonable prices. It’s a good option for my business trips since it’s close to the World Trade Center, and there are also great food options right across the street.

    Location off the DT strip by a block so it's not as loud but if you're out past 2am, the music is pretty much off at that time and you'll be able to sleep. Clean hotel from the smells and very modern. Did find dirty floors not vacuumed in my room and pubes on the toilet seat upon check in.

    This was my second time staying here, and I would stay again. I like the location when I'm feeling like a stay downtown. The casino area isn't my favorite, but based on the hotel itself, I would recommend.

    Pros: Prime Location: Fantastic downtown spot right next to Fremont Street, making it easy to jump straight into the nightlife and live entertainment. Perks & Parking: Free parking is a huge plus in Las Vegas. The main garage fills up quickly around 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM, especially on weekends, but if you have to park a block away at the LAZ lot, the front desk will validate your ticket so it is still fully covered. Comfort & Vibe: The room was clean and comfortable for a good night's sleep once the Fremont Street music wrapped up around 2:00 AM. We actually enjoyed hearing the 80s and 90s hits earlier in the evening! Cons: Limited Room Amenities: Basic room setup with no mini-fridge provided. When requesting one to store medical insulin for a three-day stay, there was an extra charge of around $18 per day, so I had to rely on an ice bucket instead. Service: Hands-off customer service. If you need something, you may have to follow up multiple times to get a response. Summary: Downtown Grand serves its purpose well as a clean, budget-friendly base for exploring downtown Las Vegas. While the free validated parking and location are great, the lack of standard room amenities and self-service vibe mean we will likely try a property on the Strip for our next trip.
