FairBridge Inn & Suites Batavia-Darien Amusement Park

I arrived hours earlier than expected and asked to check in, for a small fee I was able to do so. The manager and staff makes you feel like family. James, Macey and Maria were very accommodating. I do not remember the manager's name but he was quite helpful and friendly. James assisted me in finding deals so that I could stay for an additional night. I loved the friendly and accommodating staff. It is as if I knew them for years. They constantly asked if you had everything that you needed and provided lots of information on sites to visit in the area. Sometimes meeting wonderful people make your visit worthwhile.

There was nothing that I didn't like. I often book 5 star hotels but took a chance on this one because of an emergency and it worked out quite well.

The front desk guy was very nice and accommodating! He was the real value of the entire hotel experience. We had to call twice and both times he was at our room within minutes.

The cleaning could have been a LOT better. The front desk guy took the time to clean the hot tub himself at 11pm at night becuase it was very dirty. The bathroom was likewise extremely dirty - the floors, mirrors and shower clearly have not been cleaned and/or sanitized in quite some time.

It was a ok stay. The room was really cozy and nice. The staff was really nice also.

The jacuzzi was dirty. My husband filled it well we ate some dinner and noticed there was pubs floating with some other stuff, so we drained that and didn't use that. The television didn't have many channels to choose from and the breakfast is only a apple, banana or cereal. No other choices

Facilities are starting to go downhill. Room was not made up after 1st nights stay. Had to get t-paper from open storage room. Toilet in first room did not work, had to change rooms. After noon mgr. was great and did excellent job.
