Bayside Resort, Lake George NY

The staff was lovely. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Amenities were great! Restaurant on site was very good.

The room could use curtains that fit the windows a bit better. The lamp lights from outside came through making it hard to sleep.

Beautiful, out of the way location was very relaxing off the main drag.

No breakfast, despite a full restaurant on site? Would have been a great brunch spot. Patio was beautiful, but had terrible biting bugs!! The restaurant was also understaffed. Those kids were literally running up and down the stairs to serve people, like someone is going to get hurt. There was one older man in the afternoon who had a very bad attitude towards myself and another guest who walked up to the bar. It sounded like he had ordered a limoncello martini thru the app, and was coming to pick it up. The server literally said to him, “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Not the way to talk to a customer. There was also no one at the front desk when we got there, and we had to stand around waiting. For a venue that costs almost $1000 to stay for the weekend, I would expect better service. The room was comfortable, but not luxurious, by any means. I would stay again for the location and the beach, but would probably dine elsewhere, even though the food was good. The pool was also ice cold. Tried to take a dip after a hot hike day, and couldn’t even get in!!

Nice and quiet; nice pool, great views.

The change in floor level in our room. I fell coming frm bath area to sleeping area due to the 6 or 7 inch unusual drop in floor height. I was not injured but startled and almost fell a second time. We would never stay in a room with this dagwrous feature.
