Before we even arrived, I received a call confirming our reservation. I explained that this was our annual girls' trip (more like an "old ladies'" trip! 😂) and that we planned to come into town early to spend the day on the beach, even though we knew check-in wasn't until later that afternoon. I was told to stop by the office when we arrived and that we could park onsite early at no charge, which was such a thoughtful gesture. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, Christina, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. To our surprise, our room was already ready, and she let us check in early! That immediately started our weekend off on the right foot. This was our second stay here, and we booked the same large oceanfront room as last year. It has two king size beds, a pull out sofa, and a huge balcony overlooking the boardwalk. It comfortably accommodated all six of us and was absolutely perfect for our girls' weekend. The room was spotless, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The location simply can't be beat; right on the boardwalk near the inlet. We parked our vehicle when we arrived and never had to move it all weekend. We walked everywhere: the beach, shops, restaurants, and of course, a few bars! It was also the perfect spot for relaxing on the balcony and people watching. The staff is always on site, friendly, and happy to help. We didn't use the pool this year, but we did last year, and it was clean and well maintained. I truly cannot say enough about Christina. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and her kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. We had another amazing weekend and will absolutely be back next year. Thank you, Christina and the Rideau Motor Lodge, for making our annual girls' trip so memorable!

There is not one thing I can think of that wasnt perfect.

Location was wonderful. And staff was pleasant . Although it’s an older motel the room was clean and comfortable

I have always liked the location of the Rideau and there is enough parking on site to accommodate everyone.

The office was not open after maybe 5:00 or 6:00 in the evening and until after 8:00 or 8:30 in the morning.
