Friendly staff, perfect location, convenient ski lockers, and parking underground
Advertised as upscale rooms, that is not accurate. They are not upscale by any means. My review is specific to Building 4 room 403. Room was extremely dated with torn lamp shades, dim lighting, peeling paint, rotting wood in the bathroom, a thermostat that didn’t control the heat, and torn throw pillows. It is my understanding that each room is owned by different owners and other rooms are more updated. The photos didn’t match the room we received which was very dated and worn. Some annoyances included: a coffee pot in the room had a cord that couldn’t reach a plug without setting it on the floor, and housekeeping didn’t clean coffee mugs during daily cleaning, so there was no way to get fresh glasses. It was clear the room we stayed in is nothing more than a high turnover income property as there is minimal care to make this room feel loved and maintained. Overpriced for the quality (or lack thereof) of the room.

Beautiful property, lovely staff and lots of amenities
The bed could be softer. It was a bit firm for my taste but the pillows really helped. Also the shower doesn’t have a door just half a glass wall. A curtain is needed.

Some of the stores in the village closed a little early-like the market.

Hallway under construction. Replastering and terrible smell and dust. Bed mattress was very old, thin and broken down. Should be put in garbage.

Staff was great! And location was great!
I also love the face that the Village at Palisades offers a Summer Tuesday evening Blues Series (called Bluesdays....I think?) We saw the J.C. Smith band who is AWESOME! And even though they got rained out (from outdoor stage) they made it work by moving his band indoors at the Dubliner Irish Pub. Soooooo FUN!
Firstly, the apartment was very HOT and suffocating! I had to open all the windows right away. It was also muggy out due to afternoon storms....in which case, I had to close the windows. So it went from stale & muggy to at least ventilated during the day, to comfortably cool at night with the windows open. This unit had no AC which I never imagined possible....but hey, it's Tahoe and this is a Ski Village that rents out condo's in the summer....so why would they need AC? Temps getting hotter & summer storms getting more frequent, I guess? That might be one good reason.
Secondly, the bed was super noisy! Every time I sat down, or rolled over, or got up, it sounded like the wood slats were going to break. My husband's side too! Needless to say, we did not sleep well. For an apartment of that caliber, this is unacceptable. The owners definitely should invest in a new bed or take the condo off-market!
Otherwise, the stay was good. But, I didn't quite realize it was just a giant village of condos and not a Hotel with a lobby and lounge and restaurant and room service. Next time, I'd probably stay at a neighboring property that had more services. That was my bad. I should have investigated more thoroughly. And, unfortunately though, the summer storms prevented us from riding the Aerial Tram. boo hoo.

Our view of the mountains wasn’t bad. Kitchen was well stocked.
Very long walk from the elevator, one of the elevators sounds like it’s going to break down, kinda scary. They told us at the front desk that we got an upgrade, the only upgrade was it was two bedroom, not one, the condo was worn and dated, nice size deck but no table outside, only two very uncomfortable metal chairs, plus we were right above the main road for early morning supply trucks, trash trucks etc., very loud, gas fireplace was flashing so we stopped using it, pulled a dish and a knife out of the cupboard, both were dirty, the wood blinds in the main bedroom were broken, meaning the wood slat was broken out, which created no privacy and sun in your face in the morning, there was a blood stain on the master shower curtain (gross), no counters in the bathrooms for bathroom supplies and the condo has a smell, maybe animals? Smoke? Not sure. Apparently building 3 is the oldest most worn of all the buildings, don’t stay there. We asked to be moved to another newer building but they said we would not get the “premier” room we paid for. If this was an upgrade we’d hate to see what our original room looked like!

Good location
The room didn’t have ac so it was extremely hot in our room waste of money overall.

Location was great, the staff was very helpful, I was able to check in early since we arrived a couple hours before check in time. The villa was nice, spacious nd very clean. Planning our next stay already.
There was some remodeling in the hallways that threw us off, it made it look spooky. But hopefully all is ready soon. Can’t wait to see what new look.

It was right in the heart of all of the fun. It was so cozy and we felt like we were in a magical place.
We had a parking garage so the car was kept safe and was warm when we got in it. We could just walk to shopping, snow tubing and many dining options.

Amazing location and comfortable lodging. We loved the lay out of the apartment. The place was super clean and the kitchen was well equipped.
The TVs were old and didn’t have modern apps. We realized each owner decides what they have so the management couldn’t help us. It was an expensive stay to be so outdated.

Beautiful spot! Perfect location for skiing or gorgeous summer stay.
We needed a detailed receipt and booking .com doesn't provide on with a break down of room rate and taxes.

The location was awesome! The size of the apartment was great and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with all of the necessary equipment and utensils. Parking garage was very convenient.
The staff at check in was challenging for our guests who arrived after us. There weren’t any luggage carts available at check in but once we mentioned it to staff they arranged for a cart to be available in the garage of building. There were a few minor issues in apartment like no shampoo available in the primary bathroom, the carpet needed to be re-stretched and one of drawers I. refrigerator was broken.

Great location and very nice room. Parking garage was a nice plus. Being able to check skis in the locker room was nice, although the locker room was very small and cramped.
It is very loud at night. The snow removal and snow ops machinery are driving around you all night. It's also very bright, with Christmas lights and parking lights and Village lights making it very hard to get the room dark. No one slept very well.

The location was amazing, we were so close to the ski lifts. It was super easy to walk everywhere in the village.
The room was spacious and warm. Well equipped kitchen, good for cooking in.
The hot tub was also nice.

Convenient location - short walk to the lifts and right in the village, close to shops and restaurants.
Noisy - my unit was in Building 3, south facing on the side of parking lots - at night the snow plows clearing the parking lots were loud and worked from midnight onwards. Also, the fitness room was limited (a treadmill, an elliptical trainer and a few dumbbells) and neither machine was working.
