Obvious choice for couples or families who value affordable comfort and classic style.

This place has so much character history and charm it bowled us over minutes after arriving. As part of the original housing built for athletes of the 1960 Olympics you could feel that spirit. The apartments have been totally redone of course, but the units are very well stocked with everything you need to be independent and comfortable. Hot tubs, pool, and daily social events for guests round out the great atmosphere. And the staff went out of their way on multiple occasions to accommodate our needs.

Comfortable suite to stay after skiing.

Big private suite with a kitchen. It was very convenient to cook there with lots of cooking tools and utensils. Olive oil was provided for cooking. A balcony was nice with a good view. The heating was good, and the clothes can easily be dried.

Great choice for a short stay close to Palisades. Staff are lovely.

Location to Olympic village was perfect. It's walkable but they also have a shuttle bus every 15 mins to drop you off with all your ski paraphernalia. 2 new hot tubs were welcoming at the end of the day.

Happy it was a bit away from the crowds at Palisades but still accessible with the convenient shuttle. Bathroom was very clean. Kitchenette was well equipped. Enjoyed the game room. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Tall travelers would have liked bigger beds, even small for a couple. The pull out was not very comfortable. Would have been nice to have two sinks in the bathroom. Furniture has taken a beating. Carpet and wall paper could use a refresh or a least a good cleaning. Need more parking.

Great location with awesome history and family-friendly amenities.

My family loved the Inn. The facilities and location were exactly what we were looking for and I especially like the free shuttles available. Having a complimentary ski check service was great too because our skis were dry the day after we used them on the slopes. We also liked the board games! 10/10!

Old but gold. Large comfy room, with kitchen porch and salon. nice facilities like game room, pool, sauna and hot tub.

They have it all but it's an old building. Hard to activate the shower and it was small. Also only 1 hot tub for all the guests in a place where there's not a lot to do at night. So we had to wait for people to get out for us to get in.

Relaxing, peaceful stay.

The Tahoe Palisades area is so relaxing and peaceful compared to other locations in the Lake Tahoe area. Great to walk from our room to enjoy a speciality coffee and breakfast in the village. Then engage in an outdoor activity. Reward ourselves with a beer in the beautiful outdoors and a hearty dinner. Great place!!

I had a timeshare at OVI and sold it over 10 years ago. Really like the property and location.

We were disappointed there was so much construction going on. I understand it will be finished by October. In stead of enjoying relaxing by the pool, we decided to spend our days at the beach. Rates should have been less expensive do to the construction.

Tub had 2 nozzles, the one to fill the tub did not work, could not take a bath. The construction for new spas looks very far from done, I would be very upset if I were an owner.

The staff during check in, around 9pm, was utterly delightful, helpful and really just a joy.

I would stay away until the construction was over.

Maintenance was attentive when our toilet ran all day and they also promptly repaired a dresser drawer that would not stay closed. The room was clean and well stocked for eating inn. The location was great for eating and outdoor activities away from the property.

The property is under major construction which I was unaware of until after I booked and paid. The courtyard is a mess the pool is difficult to get to and appeared to be unkept. Our room was ground floor and we had a hydrolic scissor lift and jack hammering right outside our entry. Caution tap was everywhere so you could not enjoy the front patio. Between the noise and the fumes it was ridiculous for the hotel to be booking rooms right in a major construction zone. Prior to check in I received an email from Olympic village stating there would be some repairs being made to the roof but this was beyond roof repairs. We checked in on Sunday and were offered ear plugs it was a quiet peaceful day, then Monday at 8am the noise began. I spoke to the front desk and felt I was brushed off. We had to move the caution tape to get out of our room. Tuesday we received a call offering to move us due to the noise, we declined as we had chosen to check out a day early due to the construction noise. Many of the guests and owners that I spoke with were also bothered by the construction.

Nice place to stay near the Tahoe mountains

The room(s) were comfortable and spacious. Kitchen area had hot water maker, coffee maker, dishware, microwave, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. No AC, but there were ceiling and portable electric fans. There was also a game room and fitness room adjacent to the pool.

Construction was going on in some areas near the pool. The pool itself was nice; clean and not super crowded.

Cosy units that have everything you need for a short stay. Kitchenette is well appointed and the unit easily accommodates 4 people with a comfortable signed in the living room. Cute balcony for afternoon Apreś. Friendly and welcoming staff including a super shuttle driver who delivered us to the village area for skiing.

The location was the only thing that was a positive on this trip

When we arrived, we were told the sofa bed would be made up (it was 10pm and we had children with us) we walked into the room, which smelt of smoke, and the bed had not been made up. We asked to switch rooms because of the smell, which the staff were able to do and were helpful in doing so. The second room smelt musty and bed also not made. The sheets given were one thin blanket which wasn't nearly warm enough for a ski resort - the curtains were broken meaning we had no privacy from the outside, the room was dusty and noisy. The room was advertised as sleeping four - this wasn't an additional extra they squeezed in - we were changed for four people and the facilities were sub-standard at best. The bedding that we were provided had unusual stains on that brought up questions in everyones minds. The room was double what we paid for a far better place in a similar area a few weeks ago and we will not be recommending to anyone - really disappointing and turned what should have been a treat into an unpleasant and uncomfortable experience.

Close to ski lifts and comfortable.

Amazing stay. Worked remotely midweek and wifi was great, and about 8 min walk to KT-22 to hop out for some runs! I stayed on the sofa sleeper and that was comfortable.

Would be nice if there was some breakfast option offered at the hotel instead of having to walk to the base to buy food.

Front office staff weren’t knowledgeable about booking a second night. Had to return to speak to someone else later that evening, and then another person the next day because they couldn’t help us. Then come to find out that we had to book online. Was a little frustrating.
