Violet is a stylish, contemporary two bed, two bathroom apartment in one of the finest holiday locations of Nice. With air conditioning, a spacious balcony, double glazed windows and all mod cons, who could ask for more? Located on the quiet yet residential Avenue des Fleurs ( just a few blocks back from the promenade) this is an apartment where you can really sit back, relax and enjoy your time on the French Riviera.

Relax on the large 16m2 balcony with two chaise longue and dining table that seats four.
Bedrooms
The two bedrooms are stylish and modern. The double room has plenty of wardrobe space with large French-windows that lead out onto the sunny balcony. The 2nd bedroom comprises of two single beds and wardrobe, again with large French-windows leading to the balcony. In each of the bedrooms, there is a wardrobe/closet, a mirror, a hairdryer, a dresser of drawers and an alarm clock with iPod docking station.
Bathrooms
There are two bathrooms neither have a toilet, there is a separate WC for everyone to use. One bathroom has a contemporary shower enclosure and sink. The second bathroom has a large tub and sink.
Living area
The open plan living area is spacious and well designed with a dining table for six and comfortable seating for four. There are large French-windows leading out onto the stunning balcony creating a light and airy feel and allowing the cooling breezes through the apartment. The large balcony is ideal for dining Al Fresco and will ensure that you’ll be able to sit out and enjoy aperitifs in the warm air of the Cote d’Azur.
Kitchen
The kitchen is sleek, minimal and smart looking with all the mod-cons you would expect of an apartment of this calibre. There is an oven, electric hob, microwave, coffee machine, washer/dryer and plenty of storage space and utensils.
Dining area
There is a dining table in the kitchen with seating for six and one on the balcony that also seats four. This makes socialising very easy, whether in the kitchen, the lounge or out on the balcony.

My husband and I stayed 4 wks in March/April. Check-in was smooth. The apt was clean, well equipped kitchen, working WIFi and TV, dbl. bed very good, sgl. beds good. Both bathrooms and separate toilet worked perfectly. Two balconies provided sunshine, one in the morning the other in the afternoon. Very quiet building and little traffic. The two lifts worked well. Location is perfect for bus trips to Villefranche, Eze, Cannes, etc, but check schedules!!! Easiest way to apt from airport? Take Bus Line 2, at the Arrival door, to Alsace Lorraine exit. From there, it's a two minute walk to the apt. Many excellent restaurants within short walk, Intermarche grocery store is a 5 min. walk. Farmer's market a 25 min walk or short bus ride. Chagall museum a must. Climb to the waterfalls at castle ruins or take the Ascenceur to the top; it is next to Hotel Swiss at the end of Prom des Anglais! The beach has several restaurants where one enjoys la mer et les bikinis!

Delia was lovely to deal with and very quick to respond to any questions that I had.
The flat is in a very secure building in an nice neighbourhood which is just up the hill from the ocean. Lots of great restaurants, coffee shops and gelaterias close by and only a 15 minute walk to Old Town Nice.
The unit sleeps 5 people comfortably if you use the pull out sofa in the living room. The master bedroom has a king bed and the 2nd bedroom has two twins that can be separated. The beds were very comfortable with clean linens.
Lastly, it is a block away from the Alsace Lorraine tram station which makes it even easier to get around. 1.5 euro per person will get you from the airport to the flat.
Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you are planning on visiting Nice.
