Comfortable stay

Spacious living area, balconies and views of mountains all round spacious bathroom with shelving for toiletries

Great little apartment in a nice location close to the lifts and town.

The apartment is small but cozy. The fireplace gives it lots on ambiance. Location is great and you really get a good work out walking up and down the hill to the center. Owner and agent were very engaging and helpful. Parking space was very convenient and was able to store our ski gear there after our day on the snow.

Water heater took some time to warm up. It wasn't until our last day that we realized you could walk up to Base Camp hotel, approx. 5 mins walk up the street where they have a small ski mat which takes you up to a run which will then take you down to the gondola. Much easier than walking down.

What's the Matterhorn?

The actual place was amazing with two balconies and great views of Matterhorn. The owner needs to be a little more proactive, explain where things are and especially what to do about the electricity which was not working when we got there and went off for no reason during our stay. There is an awesome woodburning stove. Beds not so comfy and we had to carry our own linens to the apt. and make the beds ourselves while wondering when the electricity would come back on. The property manager was completely hands off. Not unpleasant but not really helpful. the owner should just include qr codes on the limited info card for the pace and not make guests request vital infor on WhatsApp.

Good

Its a cozy apartment, with a nice fire place that you can enjoy after your ski trip. The apartment had everything you need and its just a short 10 min walk to the village and 2 min drive to the ski lifts.

You need to know where to pick up and return the key, its al little shop in the main street of the village. Its open as of 09:00 AM. Sometimes the power switches off if you use too much electricity at once.

Spacious apartment well equipped but not easy to get to lifts

Apartment very spacious and well equipped, host very helpful

It is quite a trek to the lifts. We tried various methods but the best bet is to walk to apartment Rhodedendron approx 300m and you can join the piste there, ski down and then walk down to the lift.

Apartment and especially the host were below our expectations. The ski center was perfect.

Location was ok

The host did not provide us with clean linen and towels in the apartment on the first night. The host did not reply to our repeated messages. Wi-fi only worked the first day.

Lovely cozy warm apartment that was perfect for me, my husband and 3 teen children.

It was lovely and warm, beds were comfortable and the bus stopped outside the apartment block to go down to the village.

The location on an evening was problematic as we needed to take the car as bus stops at 8pm.

Views of the mountains it was a cosy apartment once it heated up by our last afternoon.

The electricity went out twice during our 3 day stay, the hot water had not been switched on prior to our arrival and we had to persist in requesting firewood as the apartment was very cold especially as the temperature got down to minus 6 one night. The hot water tank could not be left on if you wanted to use the oven or even the kettle, otherwise the electricity would go out. Compared to the cost and quality of accomodation I have experienced in the rest of Italy this property was very overpriced even in low season.
