Cleanliness was in-between emoji 2 and 3. (exceeding expectations) Value was emoji 2 because it was a holiday weekend. (Grateful that there was room at the Motel where travelers lodge.)

Horrendous

Nothing - it was just a roof over our head when stranded in Ft Lauderdale

We should have paid at most $60 for this room - were charges $385.00 We had no options - they knew it and took advantage. Adding insult to injury, they charged $50 for their shuttle to the airport.

STAY AWAY!!

Convenient location

The room was filthy, sheets looked like they had been slept in, refrigerator had mold and stains, only one towel for the two of us. We complained and the manager kicked us out, refused to give us a refund, said we had to get it from Booking.com. Do not send anyone here ever again.

It was fine for a one night stay in a pinch.

Location to the airport was convenient. It was not too expensive. Lots of decent restaurants near by. The room was clean enough, though is definitely a bit worn. The bed was comfortable.

The walls were pretty thin, so we could hear things outside and from other rooms. I wore ear plugs. This motel has definitely seen better days and could use some updating. Caulk coming up along the bathtub, the bathroom door looked beat up.

TERRIBLE DO NOT STAY!!

The only positive thing I liked is that we left less then an hour from check in.

The entire experience in under the hour we were there. To sum it up quickly, the office door is locked so they have to buzz you in using a ring camera, the room had a weird smell, it felt dirty even our boys said they weren't sleeping under the covers, within 15 min we had decided we are not staying here, so we started looking for other options, while doing that my husband turned on the heater because the room was a little chilly (the windows were either thin paned glass or terribly insulated you could hear all the road noise. The air coming out of the heater smelled like old pee it was disgusting, then there was a cockroach on the nightstand beside me and then we were for sure out of there. Staff (the indian wife) was extremely rude to my husband when he let them know we were leaving and why. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Terrible! Very short stay, we left immediately after taking video footage.

The premises were ran down. They had roaches, staff on duty did not appear to care about the issue. He just said “here’s your deposit, contact booking.com for your refund”. No apologies almost a sense of knowledge of pest.

Room fulfilled my needs, would make reservation again on future visits to Ft Lauderdale area.

Room was freshly clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom facilities were also freshly clean, fresh towels, soap and hot water adequate. Cable tv was user friendly. Proprietor was courteous and friendly.

A big dissapointment

The bed wasn't comfortable, the main door was in bad shape, the bathroom door was a disaster, furniture old, drawers didn't open properly, insufficient amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner), bathtub unacceptable condition. The staff said they are remodeling the motel. Very expensive for what I got.

Consider this place lodging-of-last-resort

The property was located within a short drive of the Ft Lauderdale cruise terminal. The person at the reception desk was professional and pleasant to deal with. The shower had excellent water pressure. And those are the best things I can say about this hotel.

First, the property seemed to be hosting several guests in various nearby rooms where I strongly suspect street drugs were being sold and sex workers were plying their trade. There were various people coming and going in the parking lot all evening, stopping briefly to interact with people loitering in cars in the parking lot. Second, the smoke detector in our room was missing from it’s mounting fixture. Gone, just gone. The microwave oven wasn’t plugged in. When we attempted to plug it in to use, we discovered the power cord wasn’t long enough to reach the wall receptacle. So we had to move the microwave in order to use it. There was no plug in the sink, so traditional shaving is impossible unless you fill the plastic ice bucket with hot water and shave that way. There are no laundry facilities at this hotel. if you need to do laundry while traveling, you’ll have to walk a couple sketchy blocks to the nearest coin laundry, where the local indigents will panhandle you while you do your wash. Lastly, we felt we periodically had to check on our vehicle in the parking lot several times during the night, with a constant worry that it would be broken into by one of the idle young men that always seemed to be hanging around in the parking lot for some reason. Suffice to say, we will never stay here again at this location.

Free continental breakfast advertised on booking dot com turned out to be a coffee machine an orange drink machine and a small bowl of thin packeted muesli bars down in front of check in. Not sure that is a breakfast so ad is misleading. Also took screenshot of their advertising on booking dot com for private shuttle. We had to pay usd 50 for a Lyft from the airport as they said they have no shuttle. Therefore misleading advertising. I told the owner twice and showed him the screenshot. He later said the ad had been Removed. I looked again and it was still showing.

If it is an emergency, and you are not expecting any real breakfast, then it is doable for a night.

Room was clean.

Breakfast lacking, consisted of coffee, hot chocolate, juice, tea and granola bar. Our TV didn't work, and even after informing staff, nothing was said or done, We were received outside just thru a little slot to give credit card and ID, Staff didn't offer a smile. Since we checked in at 12mid night, we requested late ck out till 12midday, but was told we had to pay additional $10.
