The location, property and the restaurant. It looks like they may have upgraded the carpet. The rooms are starting to appear old and it's starting to show. They really need to remodel the bathrooms (new plumping) and actual bathroom sink and cabinetry and windows. The place is a landmark and we love it.
The bathroom and cabinetry and windows are old. The older section is what's need to be totally remodeled.

Charming room. Loved bar on property. The restaurant was best food I’ve had so far 5 days into our trip. Staff was amazing! Was in town visiting locals. Asked if they were welcome to come to our room. Absolutely!
Compared to tonight & tomorrow’s rates in other towns was slightly steep. But was also a Saturday night. Value was not terrible at all.

The room was nice, and having the restaurant available was an additional asset.
We had a few unfortunate events in the location of our room. There was a couple arguing, doors being abruptly closed for better part of the night. We saw quite a few young adults outside that were very disruptive, drinking, then seeing remnants in front of the grass area where they got sick from drinking. Now later in the night, we could no longer tolerate it and informed the front office of the circumstances, and that we would be leaving earlier upon our visit.
