Four Points by Sheraton Memphis Southwind

We enjoyed our room. We were comfortable and it was clean.

The service wasn’t the best but it wasn’t horrible. We had to wait for someone to check us in. No one was at the desk. We couldn’t get a checkout extension. Asked for two glasses but would only slow glasses at the bar.

Breakfast friendly staff

Was not told we could use outside pool next store should of been told when we arrived.

I liked how close it was to my mother's home.

The location

The hotel’s biggest issue was the amount of drinking and drug use that was allowed, especially around the back entrance near the pool. There were children going in and out of the hotel who had to walk through clouds of marijuana smoke and past people openly drinking as if they were at a nightclub. This was extremely inappropriate for a hotel environment, especially with families and children staying there. Management should have done more to enforce rules and maintain a safe, family-friendly atmosphere. It was Memphis though and I was already warned what to expect ahead of time. The breakfast was not that great and you had to wait a long time just to get it.
