Includes basic amenities, should be more affordable for what you get.

Rooms are large Ice rink on site was a nice addition though $$ (maybe should start offering discount for those that are staying at the lodge)

Rooms could use more table/counter space and seating, same with bathroom-- its large but no place to put your stuff. There are no places to eat anywhere in walking distance, unless you drive out further. The lodge does not offer any kind of meals or even a continental breakfast. There is no microwave in the room, just one in the office, which didn't always work. I'd recommend having microwaves in each room, or offering some sort of basic food options, especially for those traveling with children.

First time staying here, but my family will most likely not come back...

The location is close to Dodge Ridge.

The lodge is dated. Sound insulation is terrible. Our upstairs neighbor was so loud that they kept my family awake late at night and woke us up very early in the morning. The shower is a bit ridiculous in terms of the size of it, considering how big the bathroom is. Saving grace is that water gets hot fast. There is a closet in the room but only 1 hanger. There was a leftover dirty towel hanging in our bathroom when we arrived. The backdoor lock is a little flimsy. There is a mini fridge but no microwave. Some of the pillows (like the one my son got) felt like just a bunch of scattered cotton balls put in a bag. My wife had to exchange with him. My pillow was so flat and thin that I had to double it up for sleeping. Mattress is a bit too soft for support. All in all, my family was disappointed.

Great location close to Dodge ridge ski. Right across is ice skating rink during winters.

They charge $25 of you don’t wipe down the kitchen. Instead of asking guests, cleaning should be done by professional cleaners.

One of the most important things in a stay is the comfort of the beds. Guessing these are newer beds, and our king size bed was very comfortable.

This is an older property. I’ve heard they are slowly doing some upgrades? However, windows were old and single pane. Blinds were very beat up and had pieces missing. Carpet is old and had stains. Shower is small single stall and old. Didn’t seem overly clean but much of that is because it’s been there for a long time. Water pressure was good though! There was no maid service over our 4 days.

Room was clean and quiet. Bed were comfortable. We were able to use the lobby microwave to warm up our dinner. It was conveniently located close to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort and easily accessible from the bay area.

Nice size first floor room with two outside doors, one directly to the lawn and pool, another to the parking, very convenient, big clean swimming pool, fan was provided

No AC, no tea, coffee supply for one day only. The bunk bead very squeaky, could not sleep, should be replaced or fixed, no microwave, refrigerator very small

Super friendly staff

loved the big room, super spacious, gave old school motel vibes, and the staff were super friendly. there is a large pool and loungers, as well as well kept gardens to play on with not much around restaurants and cafes wise the facilities were limited to a small fridge and drip coffee machine

we had intended for our stay to be a local base to visit Yosemite but unfortunately it’s still three hours from the National Park. it is super secluded so if you are looking for a secluded getaway this is it, otherwise it’s a long journey to get to the national park.

Great people, charming grounds and interior, too bad the bathroom and matress were dinky.

I loved the casual grounds with a pool and skating rink, looked both charming and lovely. The staff was friendly and attentive. We stayed at the end of winter and the snow was pretty, I bet the pool in the summer would be great. Also, if you have an electric car, charge up well before heading up... it's about a 1 1/2 to the closest supercharger.

The bed was hard and the heater made loud noises at night so the sleep wasn't great. The bathroom was barebones and dated. The builder's grade aluminum framed standing shower stall that was painted to make it look fresh, but it was a small and cramped wash.
