Cabin retreat with Beautiful views!! 6 mi to Pinecrest and 9 mi to Dodge ridge.

We were SO delighted with this charming vacation home in the Long Barn/Cold Springs area! It's an older home, but extremely well maintained and decorated very tastefully in cabin/mountain decor. We felt comfortable & right at home from the moment we walked in. The owners have thought of everything a guest might need & have made it readily accessible. The area was peaceful & quiet with a lovely view from the front deck. There was ample space inside for my husband & I to be together but also be able to have time by ourselves. The single bathroom, which was stocked with an abundance of hotel quality towels & toiletries, had a full tub & shower enclosure that included probably the best shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser I have ever seen, complete with a shower mirror! The only "negative" things I could mention are the lack of a dishwasher & the dearth of outdoor play space for any children who might be staying here, but with the entire Sierra mountains at your doorstep, that shouldn't really be a problem - this cute home is located just a few miles from both Pinecrest & Beardsley Lakes. We will DEFINITELY be returning!

Cute little place perfect for a trip to the mountains and Pinecrest Lake. Very pet friendly and super clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view from the deck was lovely and a great place for morning coffee or a glass of wine. I would definitely return.

Beautiful area to visit! Cosy cabin tucked a short distance off the highway. A short drive up to the lake made it nice for our fishing adventures. Perfect cabin for a single family or a few buddies looking to fish and have a good time.
