Location was the reason for picking this facility and it was perfect being able to watch the 4th of July parade from the property along with everything being within a short walk. Old throwback style motel but very clean and well maintained.

It was walkable to all the downtown strip's restaurants, shops and the lake, but also had a parking lot which was good and just on the edge of the strip so it had some space to breath. Our hostess was friendly and did her best to accommodate our early arrival. The room was spacious enough for our needs and set back from the street and other rooms, thus pretty quiet. The beds were comfy enough for our short stay. The provided bathroom amenities were thoughtful and not as generic as usual.
The immediate features were clean - bed, shower, etc, I did notice some dust and cobwebs on higher than usual eyeline places like some 3-d art and the window sill in the bathroom. The space around the sink was small so I was looking to put amenities elsewhere in the bathroom and didn't have much luck. But we were only there one night so it was no big deal.

The location is great! Walking distance from so many shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, and the room and grounds were fairly clean and safe. They even have local made soaps in the room which I thought was a sweet touch.
The water pipes were really loud when the people above us took a shower. The mini fridge was kinda noisy and froze all our food. The Television didn't work at all. The volume didn't work, channels didn't work, the shows on streaming apps didn't work. These things didn't impact the overall quality of our stay too much, but were a bit annoying nonetheless.
