It was fine.

The breakfast attendant was nice.

Biggest concern was the lack of lighting in the room. There was a desk but the closet light was in the middle of the two bed. So the corner was dark.

Christmas visit

We've been here before and returned because we were happy with the accommodation.

My husband became I'll and due to an unfortunate incident we needed a change of bed linens. We were told that was not possible. We had to strip the bed and spend the night sleeping without bedding. We will not be returning again.

The heater only bringing the room to temperature and not turning back on, had to sleep with sweat clothes on to stay warm through the night. The Iron not working, and when asked for a new one, being told I would not be able to get it until the after 7 in the morning, and then they did not bring it to me as I was told and had to go ask again for it as the message was not relayed. I was in town for work, and this really put a hinderance on me in the morning to start my day. I usually start at 5am. Then to top it off, on the first day, I was barely able to take a shower as it took 5 minutes of messing with it to get it to work, the second day it did not work at all, when asked to take a shower in a different room, was given a dirty room and told that is all they had. I think this is the worst hotel stay I have ever had.

Some glitches

Diane at the front desk was extremely helpful when there was a big snow storm in Chicago over Thanksgiving, and we were able to get a room at the last minute for longer than our 3-night original reservation. Our first room, 602, had a lot of glitches:no hooks anywhere for the towels, a bobbie pin on a hand towel, a room door that was extremely difficult to open that even the housekeeper couldn't open. I arrived for breakfast the first morning 30 minutes before closing to find no sausages, no potatoes, no bread or bagels, etc. Furthermore, there was no staff person in the kitchen. Fortunately, breakfast was ample each of the other days.

The hotel offered a convenient location, reasonable rate, and friendly staff.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated the breakfast that was built into my daily stay. The hotel was very clean, and the maids came to me to ask if I'd like the sheets changed or the room cleaned. The price was very reasonable.

All Diet Pepsi sold out in vending machine…..there were 8 regular soda selections and 1 diet…..please include more diet soda selections in your vending machines….we didn’t have a car and were very bummed….diabetics need these options too….so frustrating….not everyone drinks regular soda…at least have a zero option also.

Was convenient location for us.

Good breakfast, but limited variety. Staff very pleasant and had smiles for you!

Stayed for 3 nights. Only provided 2 hand towels/towels/washcloths in room with no daily housekeeping. Had to get more at the front desk each day. Emptied our own garbage cans. Coffee machine did not work, but was replaced when asked. Toilet seat kept shifting, broken or needed adjustment. Spider on bed and another on wall. Elevators making loud noises and alarming sounds.

Price Is Higher Compared to the Facilities

Room was ok and was pretty clean.

Staff behavior wasn't friendly. There was no swimming pool. So price was higher compared to the facilities. Breakfast time is until 9 am only with very limited options. If someone needs to travel downtown from here, it is not a good place to stay. Lots of traffic to and from this place.

That it was close to all the freeways.

The room was unsatisfactory due to several maintenance and housekeeping issues. The thermostat was not working, and the room was extremely cold. This was particularly concerning as my husband, a transplant patient, needs a stable and warm environment. Additionally, the shower head repeatedly came off, and our room was not supplied with towels. I informed the front desk about these issues and asked to be moved to a different room, but my request was denied. Furthermore, our room was never serviced by housekeeping. I am disappointed with the lack of accommodation and the state of the room. I have a video but it won't let me load it up.

Great place to stay and great location!

At first, it was tricky to find the hotel because of the Holiday Inn right in front of the hotel. Anyhow, the hotel is close to shopping centers and fast food restaurants within 1-3 miles. The hotel is a good 21 miles from Downtown Chicago. Plenty of parking and parking did not cost me an additional fee.

Nice hotel in the western suburbs of Chicago. If you are driving to Chicago, it's a good hotel to stay as the down-town hotels charge a lot for parking. In contrast, this hotel has a huge parking lot for free. The rooms are clean and breakfast is good.

The breakfast lady didn't accommodate my family when we requested her to refill the cinnamon roll waffle batter. She claimed that the traditional batter had to be gone too before she could refill the cinnamon roll one

Get What You Pay For

They did their best to make sure stuff is fixed and it was kept clean. It is just getting a little worn and dated. But for the price, if it's minimal.time.in the hotel, it's solid for a place to crash. Very reasonable pricing and located within a few minutes from tons of restaurants, trains, downtown only 20 mins away and downtown Lagrange is less than a 10 minute drive.

Worn and literally weird, there are zero amenities. Literally no snack shop or even a vending machine. Changing that alone would give this place a major boost. Very plain hotel.

Lobby and breakfast were great. Room was ok. Beds were clean and comfortable and bathroom was clean.

The chair was so stained I wouldn’t dare sit in it and the curtains covered the A/C unit so the air couldn’t blow into the room.

We planned to stay there only 2 days, but due to issues we had to stay an extra day and the hotel was very accommodating, the staff was helpful also bc they spoke Spanish as well and that helped with my parents, we used the gym and laundry room which was very nice and the staff helped us locate them, the breakfast was good as well, they have a really fancy coffee machine that makes different types of coffees and my mom loved it, the AC was my favorite part, we like it cold and we were able to have that, the bathroom was also very spacious, it was a nice area as well and had shopping centers near by as well as many restaurant options, overall, me and my parents loved it
