Great people and clean.

The staff and the questions they answered

No breakfast and I paid for it and didn’t get it

Was locked out room for 3 1/2 hours because key cards didn’t work

Location, Lobby, goodies for sale in the Lobby. morning coffee, etc. Comfortable Lobby and access to the highways.

Pool closed. Gym closed. I was not informed until I wanted to work out. Poor communication, with the clients that provide your salary!! I have been staying at the William Tell , Holiday Inn, since 1979, over 46 years..

Our room was clean and spacious- bathroom was phenomenal!

No extra blanket

Flight got cancelled so needed a place to stay for a few hours. Easy to book and 20 mins away from MDW airport. Shower was nice and beds were comfy. Also liked that there was a microwave and fridge.

Our tv was not working and the AC was probably the worst part as it made a squeaky noise that made it hard for me to sleep. It was choosing between noise vs being hot

No pool no ice machine on floor lamp did not work dark and dirty looking

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. None of the ice machines were working, and there was no drinking water fountain available. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t functioning, and the entire place had an unpleasant odor. Breakfast was extremely limited — only pre-packaged bagels were offered, and there was no cream cheese, hot coffee, or even hot water for tea. We had to purchase drinking water from the hotel throughout our stay, which was incredibly frustrating.Customer service was unhelpful and indifferent to our concerns. I took photos of the conditions and will be uploading them. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I booked through Booking.com and did not expect such poor standards. I am sincerely requesting a partial refund.

Bed was comfortable and bathroom was so nice .

There was smell in the hall and the door need to fixed mine made a noise everytime I opened or closed it.

Well they offered breakfast for an additional 10$ per day in a restaurant that is permanently closed

Room floors were sticky. Food we put in fridge was soaking wet the following day. A/C unit leaked. We were told by front desk staff that first floor rooms were "nasty". Pool has been closed for a long time according to same idiot. Rented a second room for our son and TV didn't work. Told by same idiot that they knew it didn't work. For a Holiday Inn it was a dump

The bed was comfortable.

The hotel is lying to make a profit. Their website and the booking.com site have amenities listed with pics that aren't, and haven't been, available for over a year. I was informed on the 3rd day of my stay, when I was finally able to speak to a manager, that the employee who checked me in was supposed to inform me that there was no pool, no restaurant, and no hot breakfast and was then supposed to ask if I wanted to cancel. If he would have, I would have cancelled. The pool has been closed for over a year. The attached restaurant has been closed for over 2 years. Paid for hot and made to order breakfast - no restaurant equals no breakfast. Instead ALL hotel guests, paid for breakfast or not, got: packaged cold bagels (no toaster), yogurt, apples or oranges, apple or orange juice, prepackaged danishes, and prepackaged muffins. No satellite TV, no pay-per-view channels, half the channels were dead air, some had visual and no sound. It definitely was NOT what I paid for. Oh, and leaky windows with mold growing! On the 4th floor, 2 floors from the top of the building...

The staff was very courteous, attentive and helpful

I would have like a better selection for the breakfast items for example some cereals, milk, granola, cut up fruit; boiled eggs, a waffle maker with butter and jellies

It was just a grab and go breakfast which was ok

No restaurant or bar in the hotel and the pool was out of order

The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. He gave us a lot of good information about the hotel and places around the hotel.

Not enough parking

The room is clean.

The elevator's not working. We had four suitcases and some bags, two of which were particularly heavy, but we needed to take the elevator to the 6th floor and then carry them up through stairway to the 7th floor. There were cockroaches and some big cicadas in the stairway, it is fine with me but my friends really don't like it.

How nice and clean.

That the pool wasn’t open and the front desk lady had an attitude… I’m hard of hearing so I had her repeat what she said twice and she snapped and said if u listened the first time.

The room and the check out staff

The check in process the staff was very rude and unprofessional.

The location was convenient, and the staff was helpful. The person who checked us in gave us a voucher for two free breakfasts the following morning. This was nice and unexpected. The breakfast was good once we got it. The pool is a big plus. It is an Olympic sized pool with plenty of space around it to sit. My nephew fully enjoyed it.

Getting extra towels was a challenge. The breakfast setup was not the best to the point of being disorganized. The only reason we did the breakfast was due to the voucher.

Other than the pool area the facility felt more like a cheap motel than a hotel and certainly not up to the standard expected of a Holiday Inn Room was dirty and run down Bed linen was dirty Had to ask for enough towels to cover all occupants Shower drain was blocked Room lighting felt like you were staying in a cave

The breakfast was good and our server was so warm and welcoming.

Location was ideal.

Same breakfast every day...no hot cereal...dry cereal was sweet, no cheerios, rice krispies or special k. Ice machine on 5 seldom worked. Had to call down to have the room cleaned daily. Drapery did not close properly, so sunlight came in first thing in the morning...5:30am. No pen or paper available.

Curtains where tugged down and ripped, shower water didn't drain down, asked to come have it looked at but jo one ever came up to the room .
