We had enjoyable time in Santa Cruz!

Your staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, assisting us with all of our requests. We’d like to especially commend the young gentleman with glasses on the evening shift for his outstanding service.

One concern we had during our three-day stay was the noticeable presence of individuals experiencing homelessness in the area. While we understand this is a broader social issue, it did impact our overall experience, especially as we walked to nearby locations for meals and dessert.

Parking spots are way to close to each other. My husband had to crawl in from the passenger side to get into driver seat because the parking spot are horribly tiny. Breakfast sausage tastes like ass, get rid of it or improve quality.

Everything was good except the toilet didn't flush...

The toilet did not flush. Lucky our party had two rooms so we kept going to the other room for the toilet. For the price we paid it would be nice for them to check the toilet each time they clean the room to prevent problems like this.

Breakfast: A variety of options! We were able to check in an hour early. Heated pool & jacuzzi were enjoyed by my kids and husband. A standing shower stall & a tub/shower in the bathroom!

Unprofessional & very rude night staff member, Rachel Wilson A lot of homeless people roaming around the property Located in a very loud & busy street Room looked NOTHING like what was shown online & was very dusty, as if it had been sitting vacant for a while. Remote control had dried food on buttons (did not take picture) Comforters/sheets on both beds were DIRTY, one had old blood stains & the other had food stains on it & smelled like vomit (see pictures) Broken light fixtures, holes/scuffs on walls and furniture (pictures were taken, to show they were there before our stay) Parking spots are very narrow

We had to wait 30 minutes to get into our room after check in. Shower head flew off when turned on. Shower rod was falling off. Wall Air condioner blew right onto me when in bed. TV initially did not work. Room not stocked properly. Breafast: juice machine was out of order & the breakfast sausage tasted bad. Beds were not comfortable.

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful stay at the comfort inn. The pool and jacuzzi were such a treat and so relaxing. The breakfast was better then most hotels we have stayed at and my kids really enjoyed it. We loved the walk in shower with a place to sit down. Location was great not to close to the boardwalk but not to far . We would love to come back to this location. Staff was very friendly.

Great first experience for a jacuzzi room

This was a great gateway, the place is clean and the staff is very welcoming, the room with the jacuzzi is a must working perfectly and the atmosphere is very chilling. The pool is small but warm so it was fun after a cold swim at the beach The location close to restaurants and the night life in the city ( 10-15 min walk) and the distance to the beach is arround 15-20 min(running) As a vegetarian the breakfast includes fresh fruits yogurt cereal waffles coffee ofcurse and for the beef lovers they had some mire options. Overall my experience was great and if u looking for a relaxing gateway this place is for u.

The Comfort Inn is far from “comfort”. You will leave there feeling stressed out, angry and extremely exhausted.

It was pretty clean. And my children enjoyed their hot breakfast.

The location is extremely dangerous and scary. The cops are around constantly, sirens going off and people screaming. Homeless people with drug problems and mental illnesses roam around the motel all night long. The parking situation is really bad. If you can even find a place to park, you can hardly fit your car in the parking spaces. The management and the staff were not welcoming, helpful, or friendly. For example, I was given the wrong room. I was traveling with three teenagers and was expecting a suite. Instead, I was given a standard double queen room. And although I was staying for three days and four nights, the management did not even try to rectify the situation, nor even apologize about giving us the wrong room. In fact, the staff treated me like an idiot and as if it was my fault. And although the room was clean, the beds were like sleeping on springs (I’ve stayed in plenty of motel 6s that were more comfortable), and the pillows they give you are the size of throw pillows for couches. Also, do not be misled by the beautiful pictures of the pool and hot tub. The pool is extremely small and the hot tub did not work the entire time we were there. Do not wash your clothes in the washing machine, because it smells like stinky socks and mildew. And to top it all off, they promised that they would only hold onto $37 of my vacation money as a deposit, when in fact, they held almost $80, so I was not able to spend that money on my vacation. This is not what I expected from a Comfort Inn. It was definitely not comfortable. It was a nightmare, and I will never stay there again.

Two nights in Santa Cruz.

Standard 2-star American hotel. Very adequate for a short stay to see Santa Cruz. Breakfast was good. Staff were pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Adequate parking right outside the room.

The jacuzzi was in the bedroom, as opposed to the bathroom, which is a little unusual. The room smelt damp when I checked in, probably due to same. The hotel is a little hard to find.

Most of the staff were nice

The pool and hot tub were closed for three days and was disappointed since I had young children with me. Booked two rooms and the one rooms air conditioner didn’t work so we got moved to another room and that air conditioner was making a very loud noise so let maintenance know but never got resolved.

1st time in Satna Cruz

The free breakfast was great the coffee was good and my kids loved the outdoor swimming pool and my room came with a private patio with a table and 2 chairs it was great.And the staff were great.

Well I didn't like that the bathroom "switch" was a sensor one, while I was taking a shower the light would keep turning off it was frustrating.
