    Motel is old. Some cosmetic work was done to make it look semi-decent. On checkin, as a female traveling with kids, staff loudly announced room number to everyone in the lobby, NOT OK! Shampoo/soap dispensers were empty. TV remote was not in the room, had to go searching for it at the front desk at 11pm. For how cool Santa Cruz gets, blankets in the room were not enough. pool was supposed to be "heated", was ice cold but hot tub was good although hours were 10-10, due to "quiet time"? However the very loud apartments across the street clearly did not do quiet time. Price was xxx/nt which was WAY overpriced for what the motel offered.

    This was the cheapest hotel we could get within the boardwalk area, with parking, and it had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The kids enjoyed the pool and it was nice to see games by the side although they were missing parts so couldn't be played. The room was smaller than others we stayed in along the PCH but still with tea/coffee making, fridge, tv etc. Overall the hotel was good for us but didn't have quite the polish of other hotels (ice maker broken etc). Still, a chunk cheaper than other hotels so absolutely worth what we paid

    Rooms are dark and dingy. Price extremely high No breakfast Room was booked as two queen size beds. In the room was one queen size, and one full-size. Pillows too small Blankets, low quality
