Clarion Hotel San Angelo near Convention Center

Staff was friendly. The lady that checked us in always had a smile on her face. The bed was comfortable and the ac worked great. It had a large flat screen tv which is unusual for a hotel.

Walls were paper thin. Our next door neighbor was up giggling and stomping around until 3am. There was some sort of party going on so there were numerous people in the hallway until the wee hours. Sleep was hard to come by.

Room could of been cleaner but wasn't horrible

Good location and nice staff

Booked with third party and couldn’t check us in because they didn’t have our reservation on their end. Making me call booking to sort everything out even though the problem was on the hotels side.

We like the location of the hotel, the size of the bathroom counter, the proximity of the bar, and the free breakfast.

The television is almost impossible to figure out. There are two remotes and no instructions.

The air conditioner had a strong mildew smell. I did report it at check out. Don’t know if they checked it.

The only good thing from our stay was the fact that it was close to the softball fields which was what we were here for.

We arrived before check-in time and was told a room would probably be ready in about 30 minutes so we left and came back after check-in time and then was told rooms were still being cleaned and to leave my name and number and would get a call when ready. Waited, got the call, then when trying to enter our room our key did not work. When heading to the elevator to get the key looked at we heard housekeeping saying the room still needed cleaning. When we told front desk they tried confirming whether our room was actually clean or not they were asked to take the conversation off the walkie talkies and call the cell phone. Which made me feel like our room wasn’t actually clean but didn’t want us knowing. We then waited maybe 15 minutes and was told our room was clean and we were good to go. Attempted entering our room once again but the key still did not work but housekeeping let us in. The next morning after using the bathroom sink we noticed the water would not go down, notified front desk and was asked if we wanted maintenance to unclog it and I said yes but maintenance never came by. We also noticed orange/redish stains on the comforter. The breakfast looks bad. Bacon was undercooked, eggs looked old and dry, there was no juice most of the time.

Food was nasty. All I asked when I checked in was that i wanted clean towels each day. I told them that they didn't have to make the bed or anything else. I had to take my dirty towels to them to get clean.

I like my overall rest from everything.

I didn't like that I had to go back to the rat race. I needed more rest of my daily routine from where I'm from the city in general. I loved the country. I hope my husband brings me to this place some other time. I love everything about the country.

Did not know until I checked in that Pool and spa was shut down for renovations.

The breakfast was great and it was free . The location was great to downtown . The pool & hot tub added to the fun .

The bar was closed when I was there 😳but we made do. They let us take beer to the pool so really can't complain .

The sheet smelled clean, like bleach and the beds and pillows are comfortable. The lobby was clean.

The room we were in smelled like a wet dog and the ac didn't get the room cold enough. We didn't get to the hotel until after 9pm and were too tired from driving all day to go back downstairs and switch rooms. I wouldn't come back here in the future.

Beds were very comfortable. And the bathroom was well stocked.

There was zero cell phone reception inside the hotel. I had to go out to my car just to call anyone. This really needs to be fixed.

The most comfortable beds ever. Very clean and well appointed throughout the building. Helpful staff and easy to reach.

Not their fault, but the connected restaurant was not fully stocked or functional. Prices are too high for quality given. This will probably improve with time.

It was centrally located to the different areas of San Angelo. I needed to be at.

Hotel was dirty the room was dirty the elevators were dirty. I don’t know if there was any part of the hotel that wasn’t dirty with that being said, there was like actual humans spit in the elevator with boogers and all multiple times we went to the elevator, not being cleaned room disgusting fire alarms went off three times in one night not one phone call from the front desk, reassuring us that nothing was wrong. No fire and the fire trucks showed up still nothing from staff. really useless waste of space. 

Everything was updated, last time I was there wasn't as great only because they were remodeling. Since then all looks much better. Didn't get to try the pool but will next time. All was clean in the room.

Had 2 rooms one key didn't work but the front office fixed it promptly.
