Nice stay in a clean & secure hotel

Room has everything you need including a mini fridge with a freezer that came in handy. Also, coffee maker, microwave, & hair dryer. It was very quiet and we slept good.

There are very steep steps to get into the building where the rooms and elevator are. Hard to get luggage up them.

Large updated bathroom was well done. enjoyed the casual cafe enjoyed having appliances in one area with a separate sink. liked fact that 2 closets provided light upon opening. liked the luggage rack! location was great-close to center of Del Mar. Lower location of building seemed to cut down on traffic noise. employee response was always good

Not worth the money I paid for the stay

It was an average hotel to live

Bathing showers were hardly working. There was no pressure in the water.. I informed reception staff... nothing happened..I stayed in room 200

Close to the venue we were going to

Charged us for parking and according to site info parking was free and covered parking was available for a fee. We did not use covered parking at any time. No distinction was made by front desk staff when charging the fee. Front desk staff weren’t very welcoming.

Not the best.

Cafe onsite. Pool is quiet and peaceful. Short walk into Del Mar.

The mattress was horrible. When we complained we were told it was because it was an ADA room. No handicap person would be able to get out of the canoe we had to sleep in for 5 nights! Thermostat wasn’t working had to call maintenance. Shower handheld doesn’t work. Air conditioner left the carpet soaking wet. We were not charged, but they are now charging $10 a night to park a car.

Cozy boutique hotel near the ocean

This boutique hotel was cozy and clean. They had a little convenience section to buy food/ drinks at the reception desk. Plus they have a cafe on site. They offered free flavored water (w/ cups and a water dispenser).. The room was spacious, clean and had nice closet space. The shower was spacious and modern. Parking was easy to find behind the hotel. The staff was kind and allowed me to check-out an hr later. The location is near the ocean and near some shopping plazas (One Paseo Del Mar).

They have a small gym, although hours are limited. The cleaning lady knocked on my door before check-out time even thought I put the "Do Not Disturb" sign.

Even though it is located very close to the beach, the railway track complicates walking to the beach. The breakfast is a small breakfast bar outside but was not open on Saturday.

Bed was super comfy, it was nearly sold-out but still quiet, great black out shades, friendly. Decent rate for the area.

It was surprisingly a bit dusty in the room and the unknown parking fee and 3 day 100 dollar hold was disappointing. You shouldn’t have to pay for parking.

Great location, friendly staff, beds a bit small for modern people.

Front desk staff super helpful in showing flexibility with our departure time. Housekeeping staff very friendly and courteous and kept room very clean. Convenient to have a nice cafe on site, and nice to have direct access to ocean via back of hotel (although no signage about that).

We had full size beds in our room and they proved to be quite cramped for a family of four. Cafe staff did not seem to know how to make an ice coffee...made one without ice? Lol.

The HVAC system was strange and I was not able to activate the air conditioner. The hand held device was confusing, used symbols and I have never experienced this type device. I have traveled extensively.

Great place to stay very peaceful.

Amazing cafe, the breakfast burrito was excellent, easy check in and out, very quiet place to stay (amazing for our second ever vacation without kids). I would defiantly suggest this place to others. the whole place was clean, staff responded quickly when we needed extra towels, and coffee for the room. The only downfall was the safe didn't work but electronics all have an issue at one point or another and it does affect how much I enjoyed staying here.

Decent stay, for a high price. You could get luck and see the ocean

There is small pool and hot tub. There is balconany .walking shower.

House keeping stooping by before 9am on the checkout day. And than comeback at 9:30, evenso checkout is 11:00. No beach access from the hotel. No botteled water in the room. Bad coffee maker, a simple drip machine would be much better.

The pool was nice, the bathroom was updated and clean. Bed was comfortable.

It smelled old school. Carpets were old and dated This place is dated with dirty carpets and a TV from the 2000's. The thermostat is run via a remote control and not a wall thermostat. Breakfast was not buffet style like other hotels for the same price. It cost 10$ for breakfast and limited to a small limited over valued menu.

The hotel was nice if you want to be at close to some very nice beaches.

Location was good, close to the beaches and shops, and a short drive to the heart of San Diego. Seems like the hotel was recently upgraded and the room and bathroom were nice.

The pool wasn't heated. Also the bed was hard.
