Hotel is being remodeled. Great river view. Nice pool area. Staff nice and room was quiet. Breakfast was not much to speak about. But didn't leave hungry. Limited choices.

It’s been under construction for awhile, and I’m still going there out of preference

Manager not doing their job ” I had stayed at this property only a week before on a weekend and had a great experience. I had to return to Kennewick a week later and reserved a room for two nights, a Tuesday and Wednesday. The hotel is under going a renovation, for which I commend them. It's a unique property with great potential. However, at 7:45am on Wednesday morning, I was awoken very loudly and rudely by an impact hammer or drill. I complained to the front desk, which happened to be manned by the general manager, and was informed that I could expect to be awoken again the next day. I was degusted by the 'oh well ' attitude. I paid for a quiet, safe room and a pleasant experience. The property is not doing it's job. It is not protecting their clientele. I understand that the renovation people are just trying to do their job. But, there are lots of things that can be done that don't disturb your guests. There is absolutely no reason that they couldn't find something else to do until a reasonable time, like around 10am. And any property that can't figure that out doesn't deserve my business. I cut my stay short, checked out, and found another hotel. How loud was it? I could hear it from my car as I left. I doubt I'll ever return.
