Great location, poor value, room not clean

Location was great

We went to the front desk three times in person to politely ask for our room to be touched up with cleaning because we found a dirty bathroom and a non-vacuumed floor snd nothing ever happened about it. For the price, the property was not clean nor was there any action to find a solution or even offer a simple apology.

Terrific location, attentive staff, comfy accomodations

Great location and very quiet room location - room 1969 at the end of the hall. Terrific breakfast, but short staff met to arise earlier to beat the holiday crowds. Everything worked in the room and having two bathrooms was a luxury with the kids. And having a full kitchen meant cooking healthy meals at the end of the long ski day. Shoshone is a bit dated, but the value is great and the staff is attentive. Early checkin was very appreciated and the valets were super helpful. Also, gym was a nice touch with towel service and working equipment. Lastly, the ski valet was AWESOME!

Huntley Lodge breakfast got a bit repetitive, and the buffet ran outta of food items so people queued up. Also, the scrambled eggs were always overcooked. Also, this is a nit, but Shoshone's elevator is slow and often a wait to go up upper floors. Hot tub could be set at a higher temperature. Lastly, in the last 5 years, Big Sky has doubled in cost so this might be the last time we can afford visiting from out of state.

The location and apartment were beautiful! That alone would have been enough, but there were so many extra perk of staying there including complimentary breakfast and lift tickets up the mountain.

the closeness to the lifts

Once again, the person who checked us in was awful. Gradon? No smile, not friendly. Others we’re helpful, but we could tell he would rather be anywhere but there. Also, no carts to bring our belongings in and out.

Vacation in Big Sky

The hotel was beautifully decorated , the room was exceptional. The breakfasts were delicious and the activities provided were a lot of fun . The best part was the staff especially Morgan at the front desk , I would return to the hotel just because of her . Everyone was extremely polite and helpful . Thank you for making our vacation fun.
