It was great until the morning.

Being in the mountains

They started LOUD construction (metal on metal) right outside our window at 7 am.

Beautiful area, wish I could have stayed longer.

The breakfast was amazing, but be prepared for a wait. The staff was good. The room wasn't special, but it was clean. Obviously, an older facility. Shower was fantastic. The pool facility looked fun, and that's where the hot tub was located. More of a family scene than a couple's scene.

The construction was an eyesore, but not noisy. The parking wasn't very convenient and if you have any mobility issues, be prepared to use the valet. I think this could be explained better in the Booking.com description.

Andi in the spa went above and beyond, offering to come set up a room oxygen machine after hours if we needed it. Great staff, clean, and wonderful amenities!

The staff couldn’t have been nicer. The property was in a great spot and very clean. All were very upfront about the construction for the new tram but it really didn’t impede the view.

Amazing, functional and comfortable.

Smug young door guy, with passive aggressive sarcastic comments. For example he asked if I knew where parking was. I said yes. He then questioned where was that, like a test. Then til be everyone gets lost and that I’ll be back. This after some other smug comments earlier on. This does not add to my experience at your establishment.

Great location, Excellent staff, delicious breakfast! Would stay again

The breakfast was excellent every day. It was a bonus that it was included with our stay. The pools were really warm all the time. The kids had a blast. The location was great-close to downtown restaurants and close enough to get in and out of Yellowstone in reasonable good time. Very happy with our stay.

There was some construction going on that made it noisy but I take that as a sign you are continuing to improve your facilities. Staff was kind enough to move our room.

Wonderful Stay

Location, the fact that the Cowboys will give you a ride into town and back was amazing! The lifts up to the top of the mountains were free, again amazing! Love the magnifying mirror in the bathroom!! Great lighting!

We had two queen beds in our room one wasn't so great the second one was much more comfortable.

Great location and lovely breakfast

Noisy place. Floors need replacing as they creak like you've never heard before. The walls are very thin, so you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the next room. The jets didn't work in the hot tub, and staff said they hadn't all season. Stay on the third floor for less noise.

Highly recommend this comfortable, beautiful place! Just get to breakfast early.

This was such a cozy place! The lodge itself had so many cozy seating areas as you would expect from a ski lodge; and the room was top notch. Comfortable bed, comfortable temperature, amazing bathroom and great amenities. The pool and hot tub was also very nice. The staff were incredible. Every single person we interacted with treated us like we were some sort of VIPs. And went out of their way to make sure we felt 100% welcome and appreciated. We loved that the stay came with such a delicious breakfast (think steakhouse quality) and complementary scenic lift tickets. It was a great experience.

Unfortunately, the dinning room was understaffed so in order to have breakfast we had to wait over an hour to be seated. The first morning (a Saturday), we weren’t seated until lunch time. We were using the day to just relax, so it wasn’t a huge issue, but I can see how it would be inconvenient if we needed to leave or be somewhere. The restaurant staff were so kind and gracious and you could tell that they felt so bad about a situation that was totally out of their hands. A group of people were complaining behind us about the host, but it wasn’t his fault at all. He was wearing many hats and doing everything he could. Understaffing is a huge issue everywhere, I just hope Huntley can alive this staffing issue. Ski lodge staff should be offered housing since these places are located in areas made for millionaires—how can you even afford to work there?

We stayed on the second floor. The building is nicely renovated but was constructed in the early ‘70s, I guess out of wood. Every footstep from the room and hallway above was transmitted into our room. It was very noisy. Ask for a third floor room.

so happy with our choice!

it had everything we needed. room wasn’t huge, but we didn’t plan on spending much time there. the best part was the breakfast buffet such a good way to start your day before heading on the slopes. the verity every day. I was blown away. also the outdoor heated pool was the best way to end your day. it was a short walk from the base and the explorer lift is right there.

the rooms are kinda small and the price is expensive but that is to be expected for a peak season ski vacation.
