Sun Retreats Texas Hill Country

The cottage was really cute and it was a first time experience. It had everything we needed. We just needed it for sleeping snd bathing for the night but I would definitely consider a future vacation rental.

The property was great but we had disclosed we had a pet and thought the fee had been included in the price but at checkin we were told otherwise.

I liked the area of where the property is. It’s really close to schlitterbahn and the comal river. The area is quiet and relaxing and the pool and hot tub are nice.

The WiFi is really slow and there is not much reception in that area. I also had called for clean towels and didn’t receive them. The next day i called again for clean towels and was told we needed to exchange the old ones for clean ones but we weren’t told that the day before. It also doesn’t say that in their flyer. It only says to call and ask for more towels. It’s not that big of a deal but i wish they had disclosed that in the beginning.

The layout was nice and easy to navigate. The pools are great and playground was nice.

The pool area was great.

The bed was so squeaky that we had to take the mattress off the box spring and put it on the floor just to have peace and quiet while we were sleeping. A dresser drawer was broken and the bathroom slider door was jammed.
