10 x10 room with 2 people 2 dogs sucks big time

SUN retreat called booking ,com a third party and instead of getting a cabin like before , we got a 10 x10 foot room with no cooking and 2 dogs on top of us with no other available, i search and stated a cabin with kitchen and Booking ,com said you reach high status and discounts because of all the money ive spend thru them and never said it was a room in a cabin, when confronting SUN Retreat, they said or stated that's what you get for using 3rd party booking But No More

Fun!

Indoor and outdoor pools were excellent! Full size fridge was convenient as were the dishes and dishwasher. So many fun things to do here. The cottages were so cute and clean.

Didn't realize there was breakfast! Next time we'll find that. Needed more space/areas to hang wet towels. Also a hook inside the bathroom to hang the towel used for showering would be helpful.

Comfortable stay but broken amenities and undisclosed costs

The ease of access from the freeway was great. The grounds seemed clean and the late check in process was easy. The property is very close to stores where you can obtain supplies for your stay.

The splash pad and gem mining station were broken and the indoor pool had a really bad odor coming from it. The "putt putt golf" mentioned is a miniature one hole driving lane which was not what we expected when we saw the listing. This put a really big limit on the activities we had available. The cabin was clean and big enough for our little family. I was taken by surprise when I saw there was 2 mattresses on the second floor loft but they only had a mattress cover on them. The listing doesn't mention that linens for these mattresses are not provided and that you can either call ahead and rent "a set" for $10 each bed or bring your own. This was not something we expected therefore had to run to Walmart and spend money on bedding.

The outdated tv. A smart tv would have been great to mirror our phone to for a great movie night to fall asleep to. There was no bedside lamps in the bedroom, that would be a great feature to have.

Overall a Very Nice Experiance...

Location was Perfect for who we were visiting...Pools and Exercise room was Great...The Beds were comfortable.

Well.. The Air Handler Blower Motor Was Very Noisy when the A/C kicked on... And it would have been nice to inform us either on the Web site or on the Reservation conformation that the 2 Loft beds did not come with Sheets... That way we could have brought some from Home instead of buying 2 sets when we arrived !!!!! $10 a night for each sheet set rental is insane !!!!

Girl Getaway

The indoor pool was exceptionally clean. And because the outdoor pool was so nice, all the families with children were out there. It was a peaceful swim. The kitchen was well supplied. I brought food and we cooked every meal, allowing us to stay on our special diet. The A/C worked well. Mattresses were comfortable. Peaceful Porch!

The maintenance of the pool table was lacking. I didn't realize the loft only had about 4 ft height to stand up. It would be great for kids, but I hit my head about 3 times. The 2 BR with 2 baths would have been a better choice. Our goal was to each have a separate bed and I am not fond of couch beds, so we opted for the loft.

I liked the value for what I paid for.

The lighting in the cottage was yellow lighting, it made it a little harder to adjust inside at night. I didn’t like that we had to supply our own bedding to the upstairs beds or have to pay to have that supplied. The gift shop should have basic hygiene items for sale and a room for lots of vending machines would be fantastic!

I very much enjoyed my stay and would stay here again!

I loved that each cottage had everything we needed. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. The property had was clean and had many activities for the family. Everything was very close in proximity (gas, store, supermarket) and even Buc-ee’s was a short drive away!

We wanted to use the fire pit but it was late and did not notify the front desk ahead of time.

Ideal location, we stayed for a downtown festival and it was easy to get back and forth. Loved the cabin's little front porch. Perfect for 2 people.

We loved the pool area, splash pad and our cottage! We had a 1 & 5 year old and it was perfect for our whole family. The foam party was also a huge hit!! Also the AC was great in our cottage.

This was the best!! It had tons of activitivties for the kids. The pools were great! Smores each night! The cot t ages were adorable. Located quietly in some trees right off 35 down from the rivers e its.

there wasn’t too many things we didn’t not like about the property the only negative was most of the games in the game room did not work and would suggest putting a water fountain for dogs in the dog park. but those things aren’t that big of deal.
