The Inn was cozy on a snowy night! We didn’t stay at the ‘big’ house so had to walk up to breakfast, however the short walk increased our appetites for an outstanding meal!!

Swift House Inn was great. We stayed in the main house. The room was plenty big for three. Tastefully decorated. We had dinner and breakfast at Jessica’s (their restaurant). Delicious and convenient. Location is great for dropping our daughter off at Middlebury College.
It was cold and the parking lot is a bit removed from the main house. You have to cross a small street. Not a huge problem unless anybody is mobility challenged.

The staff was nice, the breakfast was good.
The gate house lodging is right on a busy road. I was up from 4:00a.m to 6:30 a.m. counting cars and trucks passing every minute to minute and a half. Tried windows everything, windows shut, three pillows on my head, etc. REally made me foggy in the morning.
