location suited me, but only because it was about as close as I could get to St. John's neighborhood.
I would have brought earplugs, the rooms face the Max streetcar line, just 50 feet away. Not excessive, but attention getting. When I arrived at 6:30 p;m the office door was locked, which was ok, but when the clerk responded, he gave me a 'who are you and what do you want' vibe, as if I might be trouble. He changed tone of course when he realized I was a guest, but it was an briefly unwelcome moment. I guess I don't blame then if they get bothered a lot, but not the best first contact.
