Got a smoking room, so it was a little damp smelling, but overall this hotel was kinda incredible value. Plus, they checked me in early (2pm), which is against policy, but was nice as my drive had been a good one. Super fantastic location with this hotel, right in the heart of Portland. The value was indeed super.
I'll admit that the "dampness" smell that I noted was initially not great, but it's a hotel , and hello, it's Portland. Kind of a damp city. But otherwise, loved it.

The guy who ran it was nice
The blanket had blood stains & dirty ugh
Rooms need be kept cleaner, fire alarm has no battery hanging out of wall. Blankets need washed daily.
