Blue Ocean

The location was great, it's an easy walk to the main beach area, a very quick walk to the town and restaurants. The beach just outside was good for swimming. The staff were great, very helpful. It was the perfect place to relax for a while.

The breakfast was basic, but good. Some fruit options would have been good.

Pretty perfect for us. Absolute beachfront. Great safe beach for swimming, and surfing on the point with boards for hire. Super host made us feel very welcome, nice pool, beach bar and the pizzas were excellent, can recommend. Would have stayed longer if we could.

Town is normal Peru chaos, roads out, stinky septic leaks and lots of hustle, but the resort isolated us from all that very nicely.

For the price you pay the breakfast was very very basic, I ended up buying my own fruit to add variety (every day was the same - as per picture). It is starting to show its age - one side of the door to my balcony didn't open and the side lamp was more for decoration. Also Máncora is overpriced ghost town, someone said it here already and unfortunately they were correct. The prices for food are the same level as Lima, but whenever I went to a restaurant I was always the only customer, that's how dead the town was.
