Comfort Suites Highlands Ranch Denver Tech Center Area

Breakfast menu was typical offerings of scrambled eggs, sausage patties, hash browns, bagels, yogurt, waffles, apples/bananas, and hot & cold drinks. Staff was welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The location was very close to major expressways 470 and I-25, and close to major shopping centers including Ikea and Costco.

The hotel informed guests by posted memo the day after I checked in, for a 2 night stay, that they would immediately requiring parking guests to purchase a permit costing $10 to park on property, or they would tow your vehicle. Since I was not inform of this additional charge, either at reservation or check-in, I questioned the desk manager about this. He did not charge me for the permit. Seemed an abrupt and poorly executed policy change for a franchise of a major motel chain, resulting in unexpected additional charges, or worse, waking up and finding your car towed away.

The room was clean, the area was quiet at night. The staff was very friendly. Two issues in the room were quickly addressed. The location was close to stores and freeways.

Didn’t have fruit or yogurt available for breakfast after 8a. Carpet was no vacuumed while I was there. Towels were changed on the third day and no hand towel was available.

The breakfast was great.

Did not have decent soap or shampoo.

Advertised swimming pool but no swimming pool. Entryway and lobby carpets not clean. Charges me THREE deposits and then was told “yeah, sometimes that happens.” Then was a struggle to get them all back.
