Staff was friendly and available. Breakfast changed each day with menu posted. Generally very tasty. Beds / pillows were very comfortable. Environs and inn itself were beautiful. There was a piano in the inn, and there were cookies out one day. Close to both North Conway in one direction and Glen, Jackson, and all hiking sites in 360 degrees in other directions. Ample restaurants for most interests.
Stairs to room were quite steep & narrow, with handrail only on one side, and lighting wasn't great - other side appeared to have been torn / ripped off. Only one obvious toilet paper roll in bathroom, which could have been okay except rooms weren't attended to daily, so it took some poking around to find tp in a supply closet.
