The room had an odor that was noticed upon check-in.The toilet was falling off of the wax seal, making it unsafe and unsanitary. The room was grimey. The bathroom hasn't seen a deep cleaning in a long time. We unfortunately had a friend stop who lit up a cigarette. I told him to put it out immediately. Two hotel employees knocked on our door telling us that there is no smoking and threatened to kick us out. I then explained that a friend had accidentally lit up a cigarette and was told to put it out. A little later someone knocked complaining and accused us of continuing to smoke. They also accused us of smoking pot. ONE cigarette was lit up as mentioned before. The person at the front desk kept repeating "you stunk up the room". THE ROOM stunk before we even checked in . It was there when we checked in. I resent being accused of "stinking up the place. I resent being accused of smoking pot. I resent being accused of continuing to smoke after we were told the first time. Yes someone accidentally lit up a cigarette, but was told to put it out. We are being blamed to give justification of keeping the deposit. I will not be returning to stay at this hotel. I have let everyone I know what happened and how bad we were treated by the hotel staff . I also let everyone know how unclean ,,grimey the room was. The loose toilet made the bathroom and the room unsanitary. A complaint is being made to the local health department about the unsanitary conditions at the hotel.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

The floor was dirty. We were on the second floor and there was NO elevator. When we arrived and I realized there was no elevator, I asked for a first floor room and he said they weren’t ready and he didn’t have to have them ready for another hour. The shampoo and conditioner bottles on the counter were half full so we wouldn’t use them. The bar of soap, and there was only one, was smaller than a credit card. I had to go to the grocery store across the road and buy shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to use during our stay.

It was cozy and quiet.

Everything was absolutely wonderful.

Nothing.

It was dirty and not kept up well. Everything was falling apart. Pictures online do not match the reality. Disgusting. In a bad area as well. Woke up to people fighting outside our window at 3am. Couldn't stay the 2 night we booked.

Breakfast was almost nonexistent. No juice, no cereal, and no bananas. Just waffles, coffee, mini muffins, and apples.
