Candlelight Inn Napa Valley

Location was great

No hot water in our rooms shower

The property was 1.5 miles from downtown.

We were in the kids rooms and the bed was to close to the wall, and there were no outlets close to the bed to plug my coax machine

The aim of our trip was to drink wine, eat well, and walk 10-15km a day in Nappa Valley. Candlelight Inn is a very nice place. The personal in the morning to attend us during breakfast was super welcoming (a 5/5). The breakfast itself was good (a 4/5) and the overall facilities (terrace, salon with chimney, fresh bottles of water, garden under huge trees) giving the feeling of being home (a 5/5).

The inn is quite a long way from the actual things to do in Nappa Valley, and Uber is summing up rapidly (65 usd minimum for a one way). The bus option is not that good and frequent. At the end we had to rent a car. The person who made the check inn, and fortunately she was the one and only case, was not that trained to warmly welcome people... Thanks god the rest of the personal compensated. But for the check inn I would put a 2/5... Our room (#6) was calm, relatively clean, although having stayed 5 days we could see that it was less clean at the end that at the beginning (3.5/5).

It’s a gorgeous property, it’s like a time capsule and every felt really well thought out/put together. The pool/back garden was amazing - we only stayed for the night, but worth a trip back in the future.
