Cute and cozy stay.

Very cute little place. I stayed here 3 nights while doing some Fall foliage photography around Grass Valley and Nevada City. Room was cozy, bed super soft. Little coffee maker in room w/ coffee and tea. Refrigerator and microwave too. If you want room service you need to let the front desk know. I didn't really need it while I was there, I just asked for an extra towel and roll of TP and I got it with no problem. I got a room away from the street, which I didn't hear much street noise there. I liked how the property kept in touch via text messages right before my stay and when I left.

Like a lot of folks have said, the parking lot/parking is tight. If you have a large vehicle, you may have issues with parking. My car is small and the motel wasn't full up, so I was able to get in and out easily. There were a couple hairs on my bathroom towels that freaked me out a bit, but I just tossed those into the trash. Probably the staff didn't know they left hair when setting up the room. The TV doesn't have regular cable TV, its Google TV I believe. I had a bit of a time maneuvering that, but was able to find something to watch when I was in the room at night.

Great place to stay when visiting Nevada County!

The lady who checked me in was AMAZING and so helpful! Told me about parking and made sure all needs were met. The room was lovely, clean and so stylish. I used to live in the area and never knew this was here - it blends into the town like a dream. I would DEFINITELY stay again and wish we could have stayed longer.

The motel is still in town but in a very quiet area and the bed was very comfortable. I woke up the next morning feeling rested and relaxed after having been on the road for 5 days. The room was very small but it had everything I needed and the area around the motel was a quiet residential area so it was a very pleasant stay.

The staff member at check in was quite friendly and gave us good recommendations for restaurants.

There was a lot of concern about our check-in time communicated to us prior to arrival, because the lobby has limited hours. We weren't sure of arrival time because this stay was part of an extended road trip.

Was "upgraded" to a room right off the street with smaller beds and a weird toilet location. Asked for my original room and was told it was unavailable. Pretty disappointing to be told I was "upgraded" to a worse room location.

Great stay in Grass Valley

It was conveniently located. I had a concert in Nevada city and this was just a hop, skipping and jump away. The room was very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the bed was excellent. I’ve stayed here before and I look forward to staying here in the future.

A very nice small motel.

The room had clearly been updated and it was very clean. The location was great as we could walk to downtown Grass Valley and it was a short drive to the fairgrounds.

The driveway was awkward for exiting by car. There are no gardens nor places to hangout, except your room. However that didn’t matter to us. The AC is loud.
