Was a nice place to stay with easy walkable access to food and shopping.

Breakfast was very good. Evening beverage time was also very nice. Staff was always pleasant and helpful if needed. Facility felt secure and safe.

Finding a place for our dog to move around was a bit difficult. Wishing the freeway wasn't outside our window for the view and a bit of noise. We think the pet fee was on the high side.

Comfortable beds. Quiet. Conducive to good night's rest. Walking distance to charming Grass Valley shops.

Breakfast is only served until 9:00 which made it hard for my family to partake.

Loved it so much but am hesitant to rebook a suite if the mattresses are not replaced.

The facility was amazing! Breakfast and managers happy hour was top tier. Cleanliness was remarkable.

The beds have squeaky spring mattresses. My husband and I woke up with tremendous back pain. Please replace those mattresses.

Great location, hosted happy hour, nicely decorated, a bit pricey.

Great location near central downtown area. Lots of fun shops and restaurants and coofee houses nearby. Happy hour with 2 drink vouchers per person (including cocktails) was very nice. Good breakfast. Beautiful building with interesting pictures and maps of Gold Rush days.

The price was quite high. But every hotel seems to be expensive in Grass Valley.

Ghost mining town trip

I like the location it was just block away from Mill and main street which are the places to be. I also like the 5- 7 small bar they have nightly. They have breakfast and coffee in the mornings if you are a morning person which I am not.

The hotel was not haunted enough; I encounter some odd things like the shower door would keep opening and the bed move as if someone was tasing and turning when no one was there but that was it.

Clean spacious room very accommodating for organizing paperwork and using my computer It was great to have somewhere to sit in comfort and not have to be on the bed The breakfast was good and the complementary happy hour was fun and relaxing The staff is friendly and accommodating Plenty of parking I’d definitely recommend this hotel and I’d stay here again

Breakfast was pretty good and the location was excellent. Liked having the happy hour.

The breakfast could have been a little better with maybe some pastries or eggs without cheese in them. The bar needs to have more items in it like lemons and limes and more choices on the wines and alchohol. Needs better mixers.

Peggy, at the front desk, was most helpful with our late night check in. Our rooms were spacious and clean. The included breakfast was much better than most hotels provide and the lobby was beautiful, with comfortable sofas and chairs.

This is a beautiful, welcoming Hotel! The staff was very kind & helpful. Breakfast was excellent including biscuits and gravy, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, waffles, ect. The rooms were immaculate and the bed was especially comfortable.

A great hotel in Grass Valley

- Very helpful and friendly staff, in addition to welcoming bottled water, the lady at front desk also gave us bottles of water for the road when we checked out - Location is great, with easy access to the freeway, and only 1 block away from the old town Main Street. 2 really good restaurants very close to it (Alloro - Italian, Chang Thong - Asian). Beautiful blooming dogwoods lined the street outside of the hotel in early May - our room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable, and there is a mini fridge and microwave oven under the desk - breakfast was good with lots of hot food

Everyone was so welcoming and wonderfully hospitable. The room was beautiful, and we enjoyed the Manager's Reception. The Gold Miner's Inn was located in a perfect area which made shopping and sightseeing ideal. We look forward to staying again soon.

Alarm was on so first day i was awakened at 6 am. The knob is easily moved prob during cleaning.

The location was good for the town.

Too near the main freeway and there was someone/group rehearsing or playing too loud. The bass was rating the cabinet next to the bed. If I wasn't exhausted from travelling I would have asked to move room.

Loved this hotel! Fun miner decor, large exceptionally clean rooms, comfy beds, good staff and great breakfast;even a happy hour with 2 free drinks!

Some noise as we stayed a Saturday night and they we’re hosting a graduation party, otherwise everything was great

The couple in the adjacent room (336). Argued very loudly most of the night and also early (5:30 am) the next day, so it was impossible to get a good nights sleep!
