Never again will I choose this hotel for our group for our family reunion

I stayed here previously for a family reunion and the hotel was immaculate that's what made me choose it again because of the location and the cleanliness of the hotel

The carpet and furniture were not up to par the bed looked like someone had been in the bed laying down the bathroom was not cleaned nor the shower all the vending machines have been removed and the ice machine did not work I was very disappointed. Also my total for the trip was 332.35 and the deposit was 50.00 which made the total 382.35 my card was charged 463.15 and the 50.00 fell off at checkout. The balance was not credited until Wednesday morning and I checked out Sunday. What was the extra charge for outside of the 50.00 deposit. The breakfast that was offered was not edible. The meats were not cooked through and again was very disappointing.

I liked the desk clerk that was on during the day on Sunday! Didn’t catch her name but she was so very helpful. And pleasant. We actually had a room the night before under my spouses name but for some reason it wouldn't let us book two nights in a row so I had to get the next night under my name. She helped us so that we could keep the same room and not checkout then check in again. Bed was comfortable and clean.

The night light in the bathroom wasn’t working and I noticed the fire alarm was kinda hanging off the wall. Breakfast could have a bit more choices.

A very comfortable stay

My king room was very comfortable. In addition to a desk and chair, there was an upholstered chair / ottoman with "C"-shaped table (perfect for setting down a glass or your book), and a lamp conveniently behind the chair--a great place to relax and read. The front desk staff were friendly and responsive--when I asked about oatmeal being missing from the breakfast buffet, the staff member promised to talk to the manager and the problem was resolved the next day.

I couldn't adjust the height of the desk chair upward, and it was low (I didn't ask the front desk's help with this, though I probably should have). When oatmeal was made available at the buffet, I discovered the hinge on the oatmeal pot was broken--so I wonder if the breakfast staff simply stopped making the oatmeal when it broke. Is this a training / communication issue?

over all the purpose of my stay was to have an place to sleep at night while visiting relatives

the comfort of the room was great and the size of the bed was an added bonus, love having the microwave and fridge in the room to keep my food cool or warm up.

The breakfast buffet could have been better, since my eggs and sausage were luke warm at best, and the mini muffins that I had - one could tell they were a couple of days old since they tasted a bit stale

I didn’t stay because of the man I talk to on the phone was such an asshole.

Desk clerk Who claims to be a manager could not tell me whether or not their facility was requiring a mask be worn. I called there because I received something saying that their facility was going to require that. The man who answered was a real idiot and would not give me a straight answer so I did not go and stay at that motel and they stole my money. The man told me I would have to get a hold of booking.com to cancel.

We liked this hotel a lot and would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was fine. There were several items to choose from and it was changed every day. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Hotel was spotless. We had our grandson and he went to the pool every day with his grandpa. Area was neat and clean. Aldi’s was within walking distance and Target was very close for any needs we had.

We had a king suite and the air conditioner didn’t work. It was stuck on 76 degrees and took almost 9 hours to drop 4 degrees. It was very hot outside and made sleeping very uncomfortable.
