Amazing suite, elevator needs to be replaced.

The location ! Everything is so local And the pool was nice, bed was comfy! Loved the view from our balcony!

They just need to fix the elevator it literally takes forrrrrrever . We ended up having to use the stairs the whole stay. And maintenance kept coming in and out to fix some leak during our stay which was a bit uncomfortable .

Hotel was very nice and centrally located by the beach and shopping/restaurants.

Room was very nice. Sofa bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. Towel elephant on bed was a nice touch. Location was excellent! Close to the beach and close to downtown. Everywhere was walkable.

Breakfast was only on Sundays and Mondays.

Nice place and convenient.

The grounds with the pool, hot tub, and patio furniture is very nice. They provided music and refreshments on Sunday afternoon which was very good. The location is really good to be able to walk to so many various restaurants in the area. The rooms themselves are very comfortable with a separate living room area.

Our first room was on the 3rd floor facing the street, as far from the front of the hotel as possible. We asked to be moved and they did so on day two to a much better unit. Not sure ANYONE should have this room even though it has a very slight ocean view. Room 344. Pillow were too hard for my liking. TV channels are very bad as there is no guide to what is on what channel when. So you have no idea when a show starts or ends. Also, we needed a technician to come to our room to get rid of this green stuff that showed up on our screen. He was sent quickly and stated that this happens a lot to many who stay there.

Great place to stay with family.

We appreciated the walkability. The rooms were spacious and the green space was great for the grandkiddos. There are also areas on the property where you can view the sunset.

The receptionist was not the most friendliest. Also, we would appreciate the room to be cleaned more regularly, that is every other day would have been appreciated.

staff needs some customer service training. customer facing staff didn't always seem to know how to handle a concern (lights out in the hallways) or how to resolve: Customers checking in. Room on 3rd floor. Elevator being serviced. Customers have several bags. The response was "we have stairs here." No one thought to offer to find someone to assist carrying the bags up. We asked "is there someone that might help with our bags?" Front desk staff found a nice young man who helped. Staff didn't offer, we suggested.

Location and the fact that the facility still valued having green space in the open concept courtyard. parking was a welcome bonus too. loved just being able to open the locked gate and walk down the step onto the beach!

there was a marathon and that blocked access to leaving the location, notice of this event happening and suggestions of what to do to be prepared and expect would have been greatly appreciated. Also di not like that the adult hot tub was broken down for my stay and that the smaller one could have been hotter

Beautiful property but random unexplained charge made for unnecessary phone call.

Location was great in a walkable area with restaurants and the beach right there. Hotel facilities were nice. Room was very nice and bed super comfortable. Free parking.

Our credit card was charged a random $10 after check out with ZERO notification to us. I had to call the property and wait on hold to get info about the charge. Was told that my card was originally not charged enough for the room. This is terrible business practice to place a charge after the fact with NO EXPLANATION to the cardholder. If you made a mistake in the initial charge, you should have to eat that mistake.

Lovely family bonding time in a walkable village close to the beach.

The location is amazing and the rooms are very well laid out.

Two maintenance problems were bothersome although we didn't report them until we left. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was the most annoying, the paper would not stay on.

The location is fantastic!

The door from the parking garage to the stairs was broken when we arrived, so everyone was taking the elevator which took forever for us to move into room. The next say the pool was closed for maintenance as something was broken. Then when we were leaving the elevator was broken so we had to lug all our stuff down the 3 flights of stairs to the parking garage. Just a bummer the property had so many maintenance issues. It tends to happen as it’s an older property but what are the odds!

We had a relaxing time at a quiet resort by the beach.

The unit was spacious and comfortable. The balcony was small, but big enough for my wife and me, and it had an ocean view! The location across from the beach was great. We liked the fact that beach umbrellas were available for use at no extra charge. The adults-only hot tub was a blessing.

I love the beautiful grounds with the pool and the two hot tubs and the big round lounge chairs. And the bed and the sheets were so comfortable.! Close to so many great eating! Good coffee, tea, flavored water in lobby. Lots of towels. Chairs to checkout too… so close to beach. Even a little patio to sit and watch the waves halfway down the stairs.

No mats in the shower, they were slippery. Put a towel down for safety.

Condo was great. Very clean and perfect location. You can walk around Carlsbad to many restaurants and bars. The condo has a Full kitchen. Very comfortable bed
